5 Childs Road, Lexington, MA 02421
When we opened our first food truck back in 2012, we had one goal: introduce you nomivores to the ridiculously delicious world of chicken and rice. With high quality ingredients, alluring aromas, and the seduction of self-saucing, we knew our halal grub would be a hit. So far, we've launched a fleet of trucks, multiple restaurants, and a thriving catering business. Our next step? World domination! Just kidding. But we are working hard to find the next eating experience that will take over your world. Burger-Pizza-Burrito, we're coming for you, buddy. And thanks to you, we're growing - so it's only fair that we return the favor. We focus on hiring locally, nurturing our employees, and giving back to our community through local organizations. ★★★☆☆ Since I had to wait 40 minutes in line in Back Bay area to get to the food, my expectations were sky high. Only the chicken is halal so got the chicken over rice and added the sauces myself. Unlike Halal Guys, they have white, hot, BBQ, extra hot and mint sauces. The food itself was average. Not as amazing as some other chicken over rice i have had recently. With the dearth of options, will definitely give it another shot. Posted on March 11, 2016 |

★★★★☆ The first time I tried Chicken Rice Guys, I fall in love with it. Every now and then I would have the craving for it. I think what makes it delicious is the white sauce that they serve. The menu doesn't offer a lot of choice, but that's what's expected out of foodtruck. I always had the chicken over rice that comes with salad which cost $7. You can put on your own choice of sauces such as hot sauce, white sauce, barbecue and some more. My friends told me this place was inspired by a some food stalls in NY, but this is definitely the Boston version of it. You should give it a try! Posted on August 24, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ I usually get food from the Chicken & Rice Guys on my way to work when they're parked in Harvard Yard. Their menu is very basic: chicken or lamb (or both) served over yellow rice, shredded iceberg lettuce, and a few slices of toasted pita bread, in either "snack size" or "regular size". Once you get your food you can add condiments to it, including hot sauce and the traditional "white sauce" that's usually found at other chicken and rice trucks. Currently only the chicken is halal, but according to one of the workers they're hoping to be able to start serving halal lamb soon. The food is okay, not bad but not great. It's not up to the level of the halal food trucks in New York, but it's fine for when you're hungry and are craving some meat. Posted on August 21, 2014 |
