★★★★★ We came from Chicago and went straight to a1 burger directly from airport. We saw a father and son working there along with few employees. We order burger and their chicken tika pizza. Food was great but it took 15 min for us to get food. Meanwhile owner offered complimentary chat and Samosa. We loved it so much that we ordered it togo as well. What we admired was they were super humble and down to earth. We were party of 6 and they kept checking if we wanted anything else. May Allah give them more business! Posted on August 16, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Tasty burgers and fries with 44 reviews, 84% returning. Zinger, Hawaiian, Crispy, bacon burger, wings - the food is all still good, enjoy it. Enough said. Posted on July 9, 2021 |

★★★★★ Really good spicy supreme burger. Probably one of the best I've ever had. Wings were okay, have had better. Posted on June 6, 2019 |

★★★★☆ I was in town for a day trip, and the first thing about this place is that it is very close to the airport, barely a 5 - 10 min drive.
I tried the A-1 signature burger and it was quite good. I got the A1 chicken wings which were also great. Finally, I ordered the tandoori chicken spaghetti and plain spaghetti and meatballs to take home for my family. All of it was extremely good, maybe not excellent.
The place was overall nice, reasonably clean, and service was quick and polite. I'd recommend it and will be back. Posted on April 8, 2018 |

★★★☆☆ They used to be good, but quality is slowly degrading- finding all kinds of things in the ground beef that is throwing me off-season like a piece of valve from the animal- please just grind the meat and not other body parts to fill-in the product. Posted on February 17, 2018 |
★★★★☆ Zabihah, quick, high traffic, not the cleanest place but clean enough for our standards looking for burgers etc. and the area is shady Posted on February 28, 2016 |
★★★★★ There's just no other way to put it. Try all there burgers, every single one of them are awesome Posted on February 23, 2016 |
★★★★☆ Zinger was the best - chicken tikka pizza although good could use some more vegetables which is why giving them 4 stars. Service was great Posted on February 16, 2016 |

★★★★☆ I have tried their A1 and Zinger burgers over the last several months. The quality is consistently good and service is great. Sitting area is ok. Posted on December 28, 2015 |

★★★★☆ I visited this place in May 2015 when I was on a trip visiting my brother in Texas. I came across the place after reading the reviews on Zabihah and decided to give it a try. It looked like a standard fast-food restaurant, nothing fancy. We went up to the counter and was greeted by the owner (I guess) who is really friendly and helped us made decisions. My husband is a big fan of wings and the owner was really helpful to help him decide which sauce he wants to go with the wings. I had philly cheese steak.
The wait wasn't that long as we were the only customer. My sandwich tasted good (but not the best) but my husband's wings with A1 sauce was the best! It surely was their specialty! Until now, he still craves for the A1 wings which there's not substitute here in Boston :)
Good thing it's neat the Irving Masjid. Will definitely visit again if we happen to be in town, insha Allah! Posted on August 23, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Not a value meal and a bit pricy. . No taste in beef patty. Fries were overcooked. Posted on July 28, 2015 |
★★★★★ I've been here a few times. Truly a hole in the wall, close to Irving masjid, with good basic burgers at a very reasonable price. I recommend the wings also. 3 of us ate for $20. Posted on June 21, 2015 |

★★★★★ This place is great! The staff is very friendly and willing to help select what you feel like eating. Been here several times for a quick lunch or with a group of friends. Quick and reliable service and they even keep your food warm if you are ordering a To-Go order.
The best parts are that they are hand cut zabihah and their food is amazing! HIGHLY recommend this place and have been going there since they opened! Cannot go wrong with the A-1 burger. Best burger spot in Irving. Posted on May 13, 2015 |

★★☆☆☆ Have been here a few times. Everytime the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately this place is a hole in the wall and food is not fresh. The beef patty appears to be a frozen patty and the chicken is not that great. They also other things like pasta and desi food which is just not good. They should stick to burgers. Not sure if they are hand cut zabihah either. The food vendor which supplies their meat does not hand slaughter like other zabihah places like jimmy burgers(according to other zabihah restaurant oweners). But if you ask them they say it is halal. Im not sure. I would double check just to be on the safe side. Posted on May 8, 2015 |

★★★★★ How have I not heard of this place before....THE BEST BURGERS I HAVE EVER HAD PERIOD....The owner assured me and my family that everything is Zabihah Halal and showed us his certificate (fyi they renew it like every 3 months)... We even talked to their food vendor who assured us it was all Zzbihah...Philly Cheesesteak was outstanding and the desi food was good as well...Definitely be back for more soon Posted on May 5, 2015 |
★★☆☆☆ Found out their meat is not zabihah halal. omaha meat is not properly hand slaughter.
This is bad because I liked their cheese steak, the burgers not so much. I hope they fix this soon. Posted on April 23, 2015 |

★★★★★ A1 Burger with Cajun sauce was awesome. Finally an American burger joint that does burger right. Posted on April 21, 2015 |
★★★★★ I love the Cajun wings n the service is excellent Posted on February 14, 2015 |
★★★★★ The A1 Special Burger (their main burger) was really good especially for the price. Price was reasonable too. I would love to go again. Posted on December 29, 2014 |
★★★★☆ Just tried their halwa puri breakfast. nehari was good. biryani was okay.
-------------------------------------------
Even though it seems like a hole in a wall place, but restaurant was clean overall. Owners were there when we visited. A friend of mine told me about their burgers and I wasnt disappointed. It was fresh and juicy. I have tried olive burgers but comparatively they are same if not better but way cheaper than. Try their gyros sandwich, thick and juicy slices. Wings were alright, not big fan of wings anyways. Posted on November 14, 2014 |

★★★★★ The burgers and chicken wings were good!! The person working the counter even suggested some items which were on point. I would def recommend this place to others. Posted on October 25, 2014 |

★★★★★ Big juicy burgers. I have had burgers in East coast but their burgers are beyond this world. Posted on September 26, 2014 |

★★★★★ I usually dont give any reviews but this is worth giving one. We came for an event in irving mosque and they served burgers and sandwiches from here. Their zinger burger was off the hook. I dont think you can find any comparable halal cheese burger in dallas. Boneless wings with their cajun sauce was pretty good. Owners told me that their sauces are all made from scratch. Posted on August 16, 2014 |

★★★★★ Loved the A1 wings. Crispy chicken burger and A-1 burgers were pretty good too. Friendly staff Posted on June 20, 2014 |

★★★★☆ They have very nice burgers ( I always have the A1 BBQ Bacon Burger ) and it's a consistently juicy and tasty burger that I can count on. Their service is goodish ( as in they are all smiles behind the counter ).
I am worried that these guys aren't advertising enough. I want them to stick around...! Posted on May 15, 2014 |

★★★★★ Amazing philly cheesesteaks. I went to school for 6 years in Philly and I can say the cheesesteaks here are roughly comparable to the ones found in Philly. My wife had the cheeseburger which she said was seasoned very well and tasted good. So far, this restaurant has had the best cheesesteaks and burgers we have had in the Irving area. ★★★★★ Burgers were full of taste. Service was very good. Highly recommended. Posted on April 19, 2014 |

★★★★★ UPDATE: These people are agha khani but they have a place closed off as a prayer area which i really appreciate. I would stick to the American food here. The pastas and stuff are mediocre. You can't go wrong with the A-1 Burger, Sweet potato fries and some Garlic Parmesan Wings.
Oct 2013: Wings are great. Burgers are awesome. They also serve desi dishes. Prices are very reasonable. Finally a burger joint in Irving. Me so happy Posted on April 12, 2014 |

★★★★★ I have been her few times and I have had same awesome burger taste everytime. I appreciate the owners maintaining quality and taste. I havent seen that kind of consistency from any muslim restaurant but these guys take that seriously. Last time I came, I saw a dozen students from uta showed up and place was pack. I wish they had a store in plano. Its a bit of a hike for me but whenever I go to airport, I stopby their place. May Allah give them all the success. Posted on March 30, 2014 |

★★★★★ I am from South Africa and went into A1 Burger House, staff were very friendly and food was excellent. The A1 burger was brilliant and definitely going back a few times before I go home. The prices are also very reasonable. Posted on March 3, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ Had the A1 special burger and A1 special chicken wings. The burger was a little dry and the wings bland. The food here is mediocre but good enough if you're craving a halal burger. Posted on March 1, 2014 |

★★★★☆ I have been there during evening. Usually I get my order in 10 min but this time it took them 20 min. All I can say is that it was worth the wait plus they gave me free soda n fries. The only complain I have is that they are not near plano or richardson. God Bless them! Posted on January 24, 2014 |
★★★★★ I really liked their A1 cheese burger. They said they'll revamp the whole menu to add some more items and remove others. For their lower prices I would definitely say it's worth a try to get everything on the menu.
I recently revisited the A1 Burger-House to try their wings. Wow! The wings turned out to be absolutely delicious mashallah! I am so glad there is a great halal fast food place in Irving finally. Posted on January 3, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Burgers were good, not too dry not to greasy but a bit juicy, We liked it overall except a doubtful hygienic situation in this place, it doesn't look so clean in the hall I can only Imagine the Kitchen and Walk-ins they have. Posted on December 22, 2013 |

★★★★☆ these guys are great. i saw this on zabihah and saw the high scores and checked it out.
burger is juicy but not greasy at all and very clean place. fries are okay but their wings were good. food that my mom would cook at home.
it might look hole in a wall from outside. but a place i will go back to. i want to try their chicken sandwich but always end up eating burger there. the staff is super appreciative and friendly. Posted on November 23, 2013 |
★★★★★ I asked them and they confirmed with halal certificate. Burger was tasty and not greasy. Fries were real hot! Lastly, the owner/staff were very nice (greeted me at the door) even though they were really busy with bunch of kids came straight from Irving mosque. I highly recommend this place.....try it out! you wont regret it! two thumbs up Posted on November 16, 2013 |

★★★★★ after reading gr8 reviews, I took a trip there last weekend. They were nice and really friendly. I tried their burger and chicken wings. Both were good. Portion size were big. I ate so much that I had hard time driving back home. Posted on November 11, 2013 |

NR The owners are Ismailis, they have the Aga khan pic by the register so make sure they bought the meat from a halal market if you had to eat there. Posted on November 8, 2013 |
★★★★☆ Really good sandwiches. I had the A1 burger for lunch and enjoyed it so much that I drove back 10 miles to try another sandwich at dinner. I had the Philly cheesesteak which was just as good. Customer service is good and fast. Keep it up guys! Posted on November 2, 2013 |

★★★★★ Excellent burgers - handmade patties, not overcooked, delicious taste, and inexpensive! They also have very good customer service! Posted on October 31, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Checked this place out a few days ago. Solid burgers and decent wings, very friendly staff who confirmed that everything was halal. Will keep this place on my radar. Posted on October 22, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Living in the mid cities it is hard to get good zabihah halal food, esp burgers. After getting a good review from a friend we decided to check this place out. Could not find a menu online so I called from the car, the person who answered literally told me he would make my burger however I wanted it. Also said it might take a while since a large group had just came in. So we went to the desi meat shop and by the time we arrived our food was ready. It is a small shop in a strip mall, few tables and a TV nothing fancy. We ordered 2 cheese burger combos and 12 wings to go. The wings were good a bit over seasoned but still good. The burger was not bad at all, my wife loved it since the taste reminded her of Mister Burger from back home. They were running a Sunday special so the burger combos were very cheap for the large portions. The guy behind the counter was really nice, thanked us for driving from NRH and invited us back again. unfortunately many halal restaurants are lacking in basic customer service, so I was really surprised how this fellow (owner?) went out of his way for us. He mentioned that they are over hauling the menu and that everything is 100% Zabihah Halal. We will most definitely be back!!! Posted on October 22, 2013 |

★★★★★ My wife told me about this place. She heard about it from her uncle. We have went there couple times already. It is hard to find good halal burger place in dfw area. We ordered burger and chicken sandwich. I was actually so impressed with their burger, I got one to go. They also make this desi rice dish which was off the hook. They gave us to taste without paying for it. Our next visit, they were out of those. They have halal meat certificate and that was the only thing I cared about. Great food, great service, muslim owners who greeted us with salam. Whatelse you can wish for in this country. Going to make another trip there for monday night football! Posted on October 20, 2013 |

★★★★★ Amazing food!!! The lady was nice and their menu is affordable. I loved the burger I got and the wings!!!! Will go back for sure! Posted on October 16, 2013 |
★★★★☆ The owner mentioned that everything is halal now. Order 3 items from here: burger, chicken wings, fried chicken.
The burger is pretty good. It's no olive burger per say but for the price and taste it's pretty good.
The wings were the best thing out of the lot. Pretty good sized wings with the right amount of sauce.
Fried chicken is nothing special. A lot of meat but they need to fry it better and put better seasoning.
I will def come back for the wings and the burger. Glad they opened this type of place in the irving area. Posted on September 28, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Went Last Weekend With Some Friends. Left Disappointed And Smelling Like Fried Chicken (After A Short 5 Minute Stay)
Location: Hole In The Wall, Fast Food Joint, That Smells Like Fried Chicken.
Food: We Left, As The Menu Is Partially Halal And The Chances Of Cross Contamination Seemed High. The Cashier Didn't Bother To Tell Us Everything Wasn't Halal Until We Were About To Order And The Chef Came Out Of The Back. I Was Really Looking Forward To Great Halal Wings!! Oh Well, I Will Keep Looking!! Posted on September 28, 2013 |
