★☆☆☆☆ Food was old, my wife puke in parking lot after eating Posted on August 31, 2019 |
|
|
★★★★★ You have never had beef paya like these before. I am a former LA resident and have been eating here for the last 25 years. Last ate here in Dec of 2018, can anyone verify if the ownership has changed. Need to make sure the cooks and recipes are the same before I head out again. Posted on June 13, 2019 |

★★☆☆☆ Resturant was super dirty and don't bother going to the bathroom. Nahari meat was dry and felt it was old. Churga was good. Try a different desi restaurant in this area Posted on February 19, 2016 |

★★★☆☆ This place is just ok.Nothing extraordinary .After reading different reviews I went to experiment myself but I found out the similar thoughts that other had about this place. Frankly I will not recommend this place .I tried there Nihari and Biryani.taste was acceptable. The area was just ok. Posted on June 13, 2015 |

★★★★★ Typical dhaba style amazing food. Not a upscale restaurant but its yummy. Posted on April 27, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ OK Average Desi Food.
Bad Rude Service. Not recommended to accompany guests. Fat chance iti can be embarrassing.
Nothing to write home about. Will keep this restaurant as a last option. Posted on December 27, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ King of Reheat! We ordered the "charga" and the mix grill and daal. It so happened that all food was at on our table within 11 mts. The famous Reshmi kabab(which is a piece of some kind of chicken) literally stank so bad like it had been in freezer for months. We called the guy and it dawned at us that whatever grill we or whoever ordered at dinner time is cooked during the day and reheated when u order, it's not grilled then and there it's reheated. I just walked out and my wife had a good hard conversation with them and not paying for stinky food. They deserve this as they are horrible and cheap by filling 3/4 ice in glass of drink. ★★★☆☆ It is average Pakistani food. Prices are OK . We ate Nihari & Naan . Posted on November 11, 2014 |

★★★★★ Great, flavorful food. Definitely get cravings to go to this place. If you love desi food this is your spot. Never a miss. Always end up eating too much here. lol Posted on August 28, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ Bilals is an average desi restaurant. Naan is good. Posted on February 13, 2014 |

★★★★☆ While visiting LA on a business trip I stumbled upon this place. Food was good. However the sitting area is filthy, dirty floors, dirty tables. Giving it a generous 4 stars. If they improve seating area this would become the goto Halal restaurant near LAX. Posted on November 11, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Bilal Kabab Restaurant outside LAX
Mix Kabab Grill $15 is mix of chic dark Posted on January 16, 2013 |
|
|
★★★★☆ Food was great, especially the chargha and chicken biryani. The nihari we ordered was ok, not great, but a very small quantity for the price. Everything else was a great value.
Small, hole in the wall, mom and pop shop. Halal sign on door. Food was hot, fresh and came quickly. Posted on December 30, 2012 |

|
★★★★☆ The closest place I found that was almost authentic. The Chargah is cooked fresh in a clay oven (thandoor) how it should be unlike al watan. Gordon Ramsey needs visit this place when he is in LA next time. Closest authentic Indian Pakistani food. Posted on December 28, 2012 |
|
|
★★★★★ Chicken chargha is best. Also if the owner is there then every thing is good other wise they have crappy service. They need to improve the Resturantlook big time to catch up with the clean and some presentable place to eat. It is a desi place where u wont have any feeling that u r in america at all. ★★★★☆ Just got done eating here with the family and have to admit that this is one of the best pakistani restaurants ive been to. Im normal patron of al watan but now ill have to share the wealth with this place.
Lots of room for family and alot of parking.
Food tastes very good with good sized portions.
Only complaint was the bread wasnt as crispy as i like it to be but the food was very good and made me sweat thats when you know its like down home food. Posted on May 15, 2012 |

|
★★★★☆ Went for a quick halwa puri fix and liked it. Not sure how the rest of the food is but the halwa puri was good. Nothing over top but not bad either. Wouldnt mind visiting again. Posted on May 1, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ They are the little more expensive out of all pakistani restaurants in LA / Orange county area. We have tried their bbq, and other dishes. Every thing is average or below average. Even their naan is not good. The only thing that we now go once in a while is Lunch special, which is little bit better than average.updating my review with their charga, i tried it a few times, it's not like the charga you get back in the country, but what they call it caharga is spicy and good Posted on February 15, 2012 |
|
|
★★★★★ Been here only a few times but every time they are pretty busy and the food has been good. They have a bigger and somewhat different menu than other LA Pakistani restaurants which is refreshing. Food was fresh and tasty. I just wish it was closer to my house as I have to go out of way for this place. Posted on January 8, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ I ate here once and the experience was nt particularly notable.
I expected a decent biriyani atleast from a pakistani restaurant and was disappointed to find that their biriyani is the seperate rice + seperate meat masala mixed just before serving.
I thought the Goat karahi, chicken tikka masala were ok .. but i aint a big fan of those.. Also the bill was pricy.
I would say an indo/paki/halal restaurant is only as good as its biriyani..hence 3 stars. But I would return if i am in the area again. Posted on October 18, 2011 |

|
★★☆☆☆ Eat at this place only if you consider Machine slaughtered meat as Halal. Their food is average & pricy. Posted on September 29, 2011 |

|
★★★☆☆ The Chargha is good, we didn't like kabobs and chicken tikka masala. so its not worth it to write whole alot about this place. Service is okay. Posted on November 6, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ I have been eating at this establishment for 2 years now & I was so pleased with the food & service that I kept returning to Bilal on each visit to LA. Last week however, I ordered beef kabab & received an order of kabab that was completely made of soya - any vegetarian would have been comfortable eating it.It tasted bad as well, like stale falafel. I have edited my rating on this establishment because I expect a Muslim establishment to be honest in the presentation of nproducts & services. Posted on October 17, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ Very bad experience. Visit from out of town, was recommended to go. Chicken was dry, sauces were bland, service was less than par. I would never go again and would not subject my friends with a recommendation. This restaraunt is a perfect example of why people say muslims run dirty businesses. Posted on May 1, 2010 |

★★★★☆ This Place is really good. It's a little pricey, but the food is great and it is pretty clean with a nice setting. Service is really good to. I would recommend trying this place out. Posted on May 21, 2009 |

★★★★★ Very good Food Alhamdulillah !!
All the servers are very friendly.
Service is Pretty Quick. Food is always Fresh.
Love the Charga Chicked.
Very reasonably Priced. We had our Marriage catering done here too and everyone loved it. Posted on March 30, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ I went over there for Nulli Nihari and Tandoori special. Nihari's meat was not tender and the dish had very few drops of Nulli. Tandoori special had less quantity then Al-Watan, Nihari's quantity was generous but the food was over all expensive than Al-Watan. The Seating arrangement and the staff's behavior was good but locality was very dangerous. I would recommend not to go over there after dark. U can check their menu and prices at their updated site which is http://www.gobilal.com/ Posted on October 17, 2008 |

★★★★★ The food was great!!! Especially the keema sambosa. Posted on September 5, 2008 |

★★★★☆ They have very affordable lunch specials. Excellent chicken tikka masala and kormas, and wonderful nihari. A great option near LAX. Posted on May 31, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ Most restaurants tend to offer some common items on their menus - but after sampling some specialties really stand out!! Theirs is their haleem and (chicken) churgha..........SIMPLY DELECTIBLE!! Posted on April 29, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ The food was ok, but the portion was generous. Only thing is we had to wait quite a while before our orders were taken and I sincerely hope they improve in that area as it can certainly put off hungry patrons. Posted on December 20, 2007 |

|
★★★☆☆ Recently catered an event from here. The food was plentiful and done on time. It was also packaged neatly, didn't leak and stayed warm. I have to say though that the food was okay, but not the best I have had. Posted on October 6, 2007 |

★★★★☆ love it!!!! chicken tikka masala rocks!! we took our mom here for mothers day and they even gave out gifts.. my mom got a big scented candle!!! lovely place!!! Posted on May 11, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ Food was ok, it was interesting going to this place because everything was served on plates that looked like they came from home. Many people have told me to visit this place for the great Chicken Tikka Masala, but I was not amazed. But overall the service was good and it could have just been that night's food. Posted on March 19, 2007 |

|
★★★★☆ The food was OK but the spice was good.
Service was very good for small restaurant like this.
Order the Bilal special grill. It is $10.00 and can feed three people! Posted on March 7, 2007 |

|
★★☆☆☆ I went to the restaurant and the food was too mild and not as flavorful as I expected for the items on the menu. Posted on January 18, 2007 |

|
★★★☆☆ Assalamu alayku,
The food here was not too tasty, it was very mild; I am used to Pakistani food with a lot of flavor and spices. Posted on October 26, 2006 |

★★★★☆ I have been in LA for about 4 yrs now. Every outsider that comes to LA, I take with me to Bilal's (even some of my american friends!). They have the largest menu selection but I will tell you what is the best.... try their keema paratha's (ask if they can do beef keema instead of chicken.. nicely, sometime they listen) and you will want to go here again and again. Posted on October 21, 2006 |
|
|
★★★☆☆ I went few mins after closing time but the owner was kind enough to serve me and wait till I was done eating. Food was good and resonable. Next time I will get there on time and try out other menu items. Posted on September 14, 2006 |
|
|
★★☆☆☆ We went to this restaurant a few days ago and found the food to be of very low quality and infact was not even well cooked. The Malai chicken we ordered was not even marinated. The other two dishes ordered were equally bad tasting. I wish we would have gone to a fast food place. If the quality of the food doesn't improve we don't think we will ever go back to this restaurant. Posted on March 27, 2006 |
|
|
★★☆☆☆ the food here is not good! the Chicken tikka masala (CTM) tasted like tomato soup. it had no spice, no flavor. the seekh kabob were ok but they were cold. their biryani isn't even real biryani... it salan and rice mixed up. service was horrible... we had to wait forever to get our drinks. & they made fun of us behind our backs in urdu b/c they thought we were ABCD! Posted on February 19, 2006 |

★★★★★ Excelent food , Nice service. Pure Paki resturant. Their Lunch specials are a steal. Posted on April 27, 2005 |

|
★★★★☆ We had the chicken and chollay, and the Bilal mixed chicken plate, with naan. Excellent food, and I appreciate the fact that the proprieter is not afraid people won't understand what 'Pakistani' cuisine. He has both Pakistani and Indian in the name. I recommend it highly.
