★★★★☆ I lived in the neighborhood and frequented this place regularly. The food is very tasty and the portions are reasonable. Its nothing fancy but usually a friendly atmosphere. Posted on July 22, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Average Arabic food. A favorite of the student crowd though. I expected better garlic sauce. Posted on July 8, 2013 |

★★★★★ I've eaten here approx 25ish or so times over the past few years, and I'm still going back for more. My vice is the combo meat platter with hummus, tabouli, and their updated spicy rice. As I recall, this was the first place that introduced me to garlic sauce, its that really "healthy" white sauce we degrade our dishes with. The Shwarmas are cool for on the run, but the falafels have been a miss on a few occasions. The owner has a nice beard and is friendly, as is the Mexican fellow who's been working there for a while now. Overall a real laid back atmosphere with soccer playing on the tv. ★★★★★ Good food and courteous service. I go there often... Posted on February 10, 2013 |

★★★★★ Not a great place to sit and eat-especially for girls.
But great food, great quantity and decent price.
8$ for a Shawarma Plate with Salad and bread. Posted on May 10, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ It's a clean and halal place, which I have visitied several times. The chicken shwarmas are very good, but I skip out on the chicken kabobs, because I feel that the rice portions are just filler and I'd rather buy just chicken or meat. The meat I had was very tender and the TV had video of the Ka'bah during Ramdahan.
There's all the free ice water you want, which is actually the best drink, because the cooler drinks are just too small for the price.
A very nice place to visit, all in all. Posted on March 20, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ I am little disappointed with the quality of the food, we tried beef shwarma which was not cooked well (very chewy), chicken kebobs were hard and samething with keefta, but I do appreciate the owner who gave me the space to pray there. Posted on January 17, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ food was moderate, there was almost no wait time. Experience was all in all, swell. Posted on January 7, 2012 |

Good job you guys. Posted on November 17, 2011 |

★★★★★ This place has very testy shesh kabab and beef shawarma. If you want to eat delicious Kababs, this is the place I would strongly recommend, however, its not suitable for dining-in with your family, I would prefer to pick kababs and enjoy it with family at home. Posted on October 9, 2011 |

★★★★☆ This very simple restaurant serves some very good food. The food is served cafeteria style, I've been there twice and really loved the rice with vermicelli bits, the roasted chicken and the tabbouli. The price is very good for the amount of food you get. A great place to eat if you're looking for a hearty lunch or dinner. Posted on May 27, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ My business is right across from this restaurant and i have been there some times really speaking these folks used to do a better job like 3 4 yrs back but now for some reason i think they are downgrading the quality of food (shawarma) as thats wat i get mostly and also i thought as if the owner was a lil bit rude (may be coz he got a bunch of business now and dont care ) but still no hard feelings i am still gonna be goin there just to give support a muslim rest. ★★★★☆ How could I not write a review on one of my favourite eating joints. Bit of a hole in the wall kind of place, clean, nice atmosphere, very nice staff. The best thing about this place is value for money, can get a really great meal for very little. My personal favourite is the chicken sandwich off the donar but the kebab plate and other entrees are also yummi. Go there every chance I get. Posted on September 26, 2009 |

★★★★★ We are in short trip to Houston, this restaurant is a great one; the owner is very nice and also his staff. The menu has a sign stating the all the food is halal. The beef shawarma is the best from what we tried. Inshaa Allah we should visit again in our next to Houston. Posted on April 11, 2009 |

★★★★★ Small place but dont let the size fool you. The best Shwarmas in Houston. Im not a big fan of the other food there but the Shwarmas are amazing and best of all they are cheap. Not really a place to sit down with the family but great on the go or with some friends. Recomended to anyone Posted on May 26, 2008 |

★★★★★ great food, great location (corner of hilcroft and westheimer) - easy to run in and grab something to take home. Free tea if you feel like dining in. It's casual - not really a place for a nice night out with the family, but the food is frequently outstanding. Respectable Muslim establishment! Posted on April 25, 2006 |

★★★★☆ I go there almost once a month. It is a v.good place for quiet dining. The taste is good, and the portion is enough for the price. I asked him about the meat, he assured me it is Zabiha Posted on December 22, 2005 |

★★★★☆ Assalamualaikum. thanks to brother Ahmad for setting up this place. very ez to find. lots of parking space. and a lot of food for a good price. "We proudly serve Halal food/meat" was in their menu. It would be better to have the Halal sticker by the window though. Posted on August 31, 2005 |

★★★★☆ The owners are committed to providing Halal-Meat foods for customers since they buy it from Al-Madena. The restaurant is clean and the food is trustable more than some other restaurants which cheat and put a sticker(Halal)or say that while it is not Halal. Posted on December 23, 2004 |
|
|
★★★★☆ The owners are very good Muslims. I trust the meat is Zabihah. Good food for good prices. Posted on December 17, 2004 |

★★★★★ This restaurant has changed owners and the food is much better now. The place is simple, but the food is fresh, homemade, and very tasty. It is also a lot of food for the price. I know for sure that the meat comes from Medina Halal Meat. They give free hot tea with every meal. Posted on September 29, 2003 |
