★★★☆☆ Owner was friendly and recommended Philly cheesesteak. It was good. Chicken Shewarma was good as well, but it was little dry. Don't get the combo, its not really worth it. The owner said "the meat is halal"; ain't sure about it. No Halal sign at the cafe. Posted on October 15, 2012
★☆☆☆☆ I tried this place after reading the 2 other reviews and boy was it a mistake. The 2 reviews must be from the owner or there relatives. The girl at the counter didn't even know what halal was. The lady from the back came and told us halal but she wasn't confident. Anyway we tried the food and it was not good at all. Will never walk in there again. Food was not even close to decent. ★★★★☆ We tried this place recently after feeling like the gyros at the Greek Bakery and Cafe were a bit to pricey. For the amount and quality of food here, it's a better choice. We ordered 2 beef shawarma sandwiches (essentially gyros meat wrapped into a thin Lebanese style pita bread with sauce) and a gyro (in a thicker bread). The food was good and the meat was well cooked, as opposed to some places which overcook and/or dry out the gyros meat. Prices are fair and the place is clean although the plaza that the store is in looks a bit run down. Still, I would most likely return. Posted on May 28, 2012
