NR Place is owned by Hindus, with their icons hanging everywhere. Being a Muslim I would be very cautious eating there. Their food is OK, biryani is tasty and wait times are reasonable. Posted on June 12, 2011

★★☆☆☆ Good customer service, but the food was disappointing. We had Mango Lassi, Chicken Corn Soup and the Shrimp Biryani. Two quick thoughts: 1) you'd think there would be more Biryani options at a place called Biryani Bowl 2) something we ate (we think it was the Biryani) made us feel physically ill. It wasn't food poisoning or anything horrific, but still notable that it took us several hours to recover and we were not interested in even looking at the leftovers. Posted on March 31, 2011

★★★☆☆ Went here for dinner the other day and I was a bit disappointed. I tried the chicken dum biryani, achari ghost and Haleem with goat meat. The biryani was pretty plain and only had two chicken legs in it (covered up with white rice, with some onions and half an egg). The achari ghost was mostly bones and fat, with very little meat. The Goat Haleem was good, but i have had better. The prices were a little higher than similiar places. The service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately the food was average in my opinion. ★★★★☆ Went here for dinner wand it was pretty good overall. Although the seating is limited it is manageable. The place is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is cooked well and not too pricey. We had the chicken biryani, chicken tika masala, Garlic Naans, and Mutton--All were cooked well and the portion sizes were decent. ***Special thanks to Saad Malik, Talha Daimee and Zaheer Maskatia for being with me at my 300th review !!! ★★★★☆ Picked up chicken and lamb (mutton) biryani. This place is extremely busy during lunch right after Friday prayers from the masjid across the street. Food was good. ★★★★☆ Excellent fastfood restaurant with great taste .I had enjoyed thier Chicken dum biryani last night.But it was very crowded and the service was quick. it was dum style hyderabadi biryani. I have seen the halal sign up there and when i asked them about the sign they mentioned the meat is Zabihah approved by Mufti ABdullah Nana.So this is my heartful review and i suggest all of you to try once and it was great quantity for the price.
