This restaurant has been reported to be halal by our readers but is still unverified. Halal chicken approved by Krispy Krunchy and is available for franchisees. Halal franchisees use chickens that are certified by the Islamic Society of the Washington Area, who confirms that 'all poultry are mechanical slaughter with actual muslims on site reciting the tasmiah (bismillah Allahu akbar) during the slaughter process'.
NR I found the place on Zabihah app, called the number listed to confirm if they were really halal and went down to try the fried chicken. This is a gas station with only option to take out. ★★★★★ Is KKC Halal? After seeing the listing on Zabihah I got curious and went to check it out during my lunch hour. It is located inside an Exxon gas station as a small take out. The store is clean and well maintained. The owner is a nice guy and a well-know and well-respected Muslim brother and his verbal assurance about the authenticity of Halal status was enough for my satisfaction. But I am pretty sure he can show paperwork if you will ask. Food is Cajun recipe purely American. Fresh, crisp and mouth watering. Employees do a good job with hygiene of the food.
