★★★☆☆ The food is good but a bit greasy (not for the health concious). It is purely a fast food type of eatery -- the amazing thing is that the service is fast considering 2 brothers run the shop. It gets quite busy but it is NOT a family atmosphere -- would recommend pick up and go if you are into the late night food cravings. Posted on January 27, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ My family buys packs of food from them every once in a while, so we can go home and cook it, so once they gave it to us in the box they buy it in, instead of the clear packs like usualy, on the box had an address of some meat company from wisconsin, we thought that was odd, halal factory in wisconsin, we call the company, and they said their meat is not halal. So they have been selling non-halal meat to us. My dad went back to the store to return it, and told them it wasnt halal, they claim they gave the wrong pack or something, and the labels they were showing us were for other products, not the one they sold to us. They just showed us the halal label of some other package and were trying to prove to us that what they gave us was halal too, but it's not. they were just deceiving us. I don't trust them about their food being Halal, so eat at your own risk. Posted on October 7, 2005 |

★★★★☆ the guy gets REALLY ANGRY if u question whether it's halal or not. He proved it was, by showing me all these receipts and tags and etc. I jus asked a simple yes or no question, he gave me this whole presentation and lecture. i wanted to leave. The food is greasy, but good. Cheesesteak isn't all that. Exactly the same as Tasty Friend Chicken in Newark. It's no KFC though. My cousins get food from them alot. The service is always good though. Good people, just take their word for it when they say it's Halal. Posted on December 30, 2004 |

★★★★☆ I have been eating at Kennedy Fried Chicken since it opened in 1999. They have great food for a low price. The people who own the store are two pakistani muslims and their food is definetly halal. They have great fried chicken as well as a wide variety of sandwiches including cheese steak, cheese burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fish sandwiches. They also have better fries than Bk and Mcdonalds. You should definetly check them out if you live near Englewood, NJ. Posted on August 23, 2004 |

★★★★★ If you haven't been there yet, do go.... I've tried a lot of places on zabihah.com, and I never write a review, but this one is well worth it. It is worth the trip and money. the food is cheap and great. Do try it ot Posted on August 19, 2004 |

★★★★☆ We have tried fried chicken at many places and this is probably the best; least greasy and excellent taste. Very good value for money also. The neighborhood on West Palisade Avenue is great with all kinds of shops including Ben and Jerry's which makes the trip even more enticing. The owners are from Swat (northern part of Pakistan). ★★★☆☆ After some long basketball games in Teaneck me and my friends would venture off here. Interesting location in that 2 blocks up after you cross the railroad tracks you literally have a suburban posh neighborhood whereas this place is located in an urban street central. The 2 guys who run the place are exceptionally nice although I still scratch my head as to how they do it all by themselves day and night. The food is pretty tasty but NOT healthy (very greasy). They have a bunch of meal combinations that they all throughout the walls of the place but the chicken is what is worth it. Not a place where you would take the family to go out and eat, more of a pick up your food and eat @ home deal. Posted on March 21, 2004 |

★★★★★ I really like this place!!! I come here every week. On one hand they've got a VERY tasty chicken, chicken wings, cheesburgers, and gyros, and on the other hand VERY low prices. The owner is the nicest guy I've ever met. The only thing is that they've got one or two things not halal, but the owner will always tells you what. Please support our brothers at Kennedy Fried Chicken! Posted on April 10, 2003 |

★★★★☆ This place is run by 2 brothers from Swat. The fried chicken is as good as any available in USA. It is crispy, tasty and the kids would love it too. The fries are also pretty good. Gyros are okay. Strongly recommended for $ 4.50 per head. Posted on September 3, 2002 |

★★★★★ This has turned into a once a week habit for me. I love it for the great taste and the convenience (open till 2 am). It also carries other zabihah meats and burgers, when you're in the mood for something different. Posted on May 28, 2002 |

★★★★☆ I've had a lot of halal fried chicken at various places, and I can confidently say this has been the best so far. In fact, I'm getting hungry right now... think I'll go have me some Kennedy Fried Chicken! Posted on April 13, 2002 |

★★★★☆ Their chicken which they fry themselves is zabiha. Whereas all the ready made chicken they get from outside is not. Had a long chat with the owner. He would tell you which is which. The fried chicken is a bit greasy, but tastes good. The hot sauce they have helps. Posted on March 10, 2001 |
