★★★★★ Most of the reviews for this restaurant are old and so when I was invited to go to Shafi for dinner with friends I was a bit apprehensive given what was written however I am happy that I did not listen to the reviews and went here for dinner. We were there on 03.27.2016 and it was fairly quiet inside - there were about 10 others there but by the time we ordered (six of us), they had left. Let me say that despite the fact that the portions may seem small, they are extremely filling and tasty. I am not usually one for Pakistan/Indian food so I tried the Chicken Manchurian and it was an excellent dish! It was extremely spicy for me but full of taste and the portion, which seemed small, actually was too much for me to finish. I also ordered the Samosa appetizer and it too was well worth it.
Don't let the negative ratings fool you, this is definitely a great place with excellent food. Posted on March 28, 2016 |

★★★★☆ Arrived late in the day.
Had a few people waiting to collect their orders.
They still served me although I was fairly late.
Service was quick, I ordered the Chicken Karahi. Came with a very nice and hot nan.
Karahi was very nice, not hot but came with green chili in the gravy. The combo was very very satisfying.
Will visit again to have something else as well. Posted on May 26, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Being an Arab, I can honestly say I don't know what the standard is for east-indian/pakistani food is, but I did enjoy the food. I like the chicken pastry he makes, and the Nan I got was fresh (and thick, which I like). I wasn't too big on his butter chicken - I found the meat to be very little compared to other places, and the sauce not as good as others. The owner is very nice and friendly, and I do go back there periodically.
@Imhalal - I'm not sure if you're thinking of the right place, as I've never seen pizza on their menu.
Update: They do now offer a buffet service. I haven't tried it myself as I think the hours are limited, but I saw it setup and operation when I was there to pick up some fresh Nan. Sadly, they no longer offer the chicken pastry I used to always go for; I mush have been the only one :-) Posted on September 21, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Excellent service. Owner is an amazing gentlemen who always has time for his customers. I have been going there for two years now and the restaurant has become nothing but better and better day by day. Posted on October 21, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ I had very high hopes for this restaurant, but was very disappointed with both the service and the food.
We ordered Tandoori Chicken to take home for Iftar. Once we got it home, every single piece of chicken was raw inside. In fact, once we opened up the pieces there was quite a bit of blood still inside!
Upon calling the restaurant to alert them of this, their 'solution' was to tell us to stick the chicken in the microwave for a few minutes. I felt this was inadequate since I was sick just thinking about what I had just eaten. I don't think I will ever get food from here again. Posted on September 2, 2010 |

★★★★★ I don't know what the other two guys problem is but I have had a very enjoyable experience at this restaurant. The owner was very friendly and the food was delicious and reminded me of my childhood in Pakistan. The Haleem was tasty and the Naan bread was nice and crispy. Only problem that I found was that the food took 30 mins to come out. The server apologized for the delay and brought us a free serving of Ras Malai. I would definitely go back whenever I get back into town. Posted on September 21, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ I visited this place with hope of eating something good, but I am very much disappointed. The naan they served was a frozen vread heated on a pan. Seemed like it was day old.
Further more the person serving is very rude. The quality of food is lousy. I will not recomend this place to any one , not for even catering, Posted on May 22, 2009 |

★★☆☆☆ i visited this establishment with high hopes... unfortunately i was quite dissapointed...their prices are very high for the quality and quantity of food they give...also i found it comical that they advertise a tandoori grill and bakery, yet the naan they give you is the pre-packaged one you can buy from superstore, just heated on a stove....i think this place is more for catering of big events rather than to go and sit down to eat...
