★★★☆☆ I dropped by to pick up an order of lamb biryani and vegetable chicken soup. Biryani was ok...honestly the meat felt like it was beef and not lamb.
Quantity is good, quality not so much....same goes for soup. One more thing, in quick facts it incorrectly says 'Alcohol free'...drinks are prominently displayed in the cabinet behind the counter! Posted on December 16, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ Tried their buffet on Mother's Day. Very very disappointed.
Dry layer on the curries, limp nans.
I would not recommend having the buffet.
Apparently the Chinese is good, so may develop the courage to go again to check out other food..............maybe after I have been to "ALL" the other eateries in Edmonton. Posted on May 26, 2013 |

★★★★☆ My advice for anyone who wants to try this place and is not sure what to get is go there during the lunch hour as they do have a buffet service where you can try a variety of what they offer. As for the food, being that this is my only experience with an indo/chinese menu, I quite enjoyed it.
When I ordered from them for pickup, we did have to wait nearly 45 minutes there after the pickup time we were told. But since there's no wait for a buffet, I've been back a few times for it. And with choices of rice/noodles/chicken/fish/etc... you'll surely find something you like.
The owners are not Muslims, so they do serve alcohol there. There are tables where one can sit and it is not visible. Price is comparable to the other buffet restaurants in the area.
The only reason I don't give them five stars is because of the time it takes to get the food if you order, and a couple of times I've noticed that some of the buffet options did not taste fresh (almost tasted like it was reheated). It might depend on when one goes there - but this was rare when I noticed this. Posted on September 17, 2011 |

★★★★☆ I am surprised about the previous comments on this restaurant since the service was extremly fast and everyone was very friendly. The food was very good as well. We ordered chicken spring rolls, chicken fried rice, chili chicken and manchurian fish. We enjoyed all of it! We would probably eat at this place again if we return to Edmonton. ★★★★☆ Well tried it today, It's not true authentic Chinese food but of Malaysian (IndoChinese) style food. Although the food was good, the soup was nice, food was well cooked but the fried rice needed some help. Our kids enjoyed the food too which is a big thing. Will recommend Posted on February 3, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Very good Hakka Chinese food. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The service was slow. However, the food is very tasty and is better than your average Indian Chinese restaurant. We plan to return on a regular basis. Posted on September 8, 2007 |

★☆☆☆☆ The service at this place is pathetic to say the least. This was my first and last visit. First of all the waitress seated us at a dirty table and just walked away. We changed tables ourselves. Then she brought over our plates. One was completely wet with a pool of water in it. The other was dirty. We got half of our food about 40 minutes after ordering. We waited another 45 minutes for the second half. The waitress never came to check up on us and avoided eye contact. Finally she came and told us that another waitress gave our food to someone else by mistake and that they will make it now. Now this is after an hour and 25 minutes after ordering. I was very disappointed and angry. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The food isn't good either. I have had much better Hakkah food before. Posted on July 23, 2007 |
