★★★★☆ Great quality meat at good prices. Especially love the chicken keema (ground meat), it's so hard to find sometimes.. Rest of the market's spices, etc are fine, standard in any desi shop. You can call ahead for your order, they are pretty fast. Shop is also clean. Posted on August 27, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ I bought a whole lamb (apparently goat) leg, ground lamb, and 2 whole chicken from here.
1) The chicken was clean and good.
2) The lamb they used to make ground lamb was very OLD and had turned brown. To be fair, I shopped on Sunday and the owner was honest enough to tell me about the meat not being fresh. I think it was expensive too (8$/lb).
3) The leg was not as stale. But I was surprised by how much of the spine bone they had left on it. I had paid the same 7$/lb for much better meat. I ended up getting noticeably less meat and MUCH more bones for the fairly high price.
Another thing is that they did a poor job chopping the leg and just mixed the meat and the bones, so there was very little unattached meat. maybe it's their style.
In general, I wouldn't say they were totally bad, but I personally would rather not shop here again. Posted on November 13, 2011 |

★★★★★ I just got meat from there last week and have also been going to this store for the past 8 years and so i must disagree with the last comment. I have never had any kinds of problems..and if there ever were any problems with my order the owner is always more than happy to accommodate and please the customer. Also, i have never been cheated..in fact, compared to the other halal meat stores around the area this one is much more honest..they always weigh my meat right in front of me instead of taking it to the back like other places. The owner is very friendly and always there to help in any way he can. I honestly recommend this place!! Posted on June 23, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ NEVER BUY
it is my first & last time to get meet & chicken from there, I'm so sorry to see a Muslim store cheat on his/her same religion customs, I'll tell you why:
1-- the chicken keema/ Minced not white it is mixed with blood clots, (Halal died chicken suppose to be no blood clots).
2-- the sheep/goat meat ONLY ribs ??? 2 pounds ribs where are the other parts of the sheep at least 1 piece of muscle of the thigh.
3-- very very very expensive, I want to know why ?? about the truth of its halal or not + low quality and expensive.
I advice all people not to buy from there or go once to see the truth by your eyes. Posted on October 3, 2008 |
