★★★☆☆ Went there for a family dinner one night. Fair food, but a cut below what you might find in San Francisco or Berkeley. Posted on December 10, 2014 |

★★★★★ Dishes are cooked fresh to order. Where else do you find crunchy vegetables at an Indian restaurant? The meat is Halal. Quiet and clean. Prices are very reasonable considering the exceptionally high quality. As good as it gets. No kidding. Worth a drive. Posted on May 20, 2014 |

★★★★☆ I was assured by the owner that all lamb and chicken items are halal (they do not serve any beef items). Although they have halal certifiaction on-site, it might be a good idea to double check halal status before going. I've been here twice already. The tandoori chicken is real tasty, as is the methi chicken, pakora kadhi, and saag. Lunch buffet is also tasty with three meat dishes, three veggie dishes, rice, naan, and dessert for around $10. As of now, Royal Indian does not serve any alcohol, however it could be that their application for a license to sell alcoholic beverages is pending (not confirmed). I recommend this place, so long as they continue to serve halal meat AND don't sell alcohol. Posted on October 1, 2013 |
