NR I agree with the previous review. There are so many postings that are false but Zabihah.com fails to take them off. I wonder what criteria this app/website uses for verification? I would use this site all the time but lately it's been misleading. Wish and hope that someone would make a note and do something about this ! Posted on October 7, 2013

★☆☆☆☆ I was very excited to try the ‘new restaurant on the block’ after seeing it added to zabihah.com. When I got there, first thing I noticed was on the back of the menu under the “Party Special” section, it states “We Serve Halal Meat on Special Orders”. Hmm… so I became curious to inquire about their halal status. I had conversation with two employees separately about their Halal status. Both gave me contradictory answers and neither seemed to know what Halal means. One said that “only the Lamb is halal” the other muttered “Lamb is always halal right and chicken is halal… I think… and beef”. Not convinced of their halal status, I ordered something called “shrimp and cheese” sub. I drove back to work and un-wrapped the sub, only to find that it is a steak and cheese sub with shrimp added… Needless to say, I am disgusted and very disappointed by this experience! What a waste of my time and my $8.47.
***Their halal claim is very suspicious to say the least***. Once again, I wish that we could turn to someone or somewhere to hold restaurants accountable for their halal claims, whether they are true or false. At the least zabihah.com should consider revising/removing this listing to help our vigilance.
Note: it might be worth noting that the employees at this restaurant are non-Muslims so going only by their word regarding the halal status is not permissible. Posted on December 12, 2012
