★☆☆☆☆ * Updating my previous review:
Kabab Station used to be known as Kabob G - the review below was for Kabab G.
Kabab Station is horrible. We ordered 2 sandwiches. The food was just put in the microwave to warm it up and then handed to us. The meat was flavorless, rubbery and smelt bad as if it was old. Dont waste your time here.
Excellent fresh cooked food. Had it for the first time this weekend. We had the chicken taook sandwich and the shish kebob sandwich, as well as foul. Food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared when we ordered it. The price was very reasonable, and the quantity of food was very large. Posted on April 23, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ We ate here twice during our stay in Cleveland. The first time I was disappointed since our plate seemed small and the rice seemed parboiled, but the second time made up for it. My review is based on our second experience where we ordered the family platter plus an extra lamb kabab plate. We ordered by phone and arrived 1/2 hour before closing. The young man there provided us a place to pray and kept our food warm while we prayed even though we were went beyond closing time. We had a small problem where we had to remind the waiter of what was included in the fmly platter (we were missing a hummus and fries plate) so he had to go back and make those for us (they were closing up so fryer was off). The salad is like a fattoush but it is basically tomatoes and cucumbers with mint and some dressing (no lettuce!). The first time we added the salad to our meal and it cost $5 which was totally not worth it. The second time we bought the fmly platter so it was included and we got a better portion (still small though). Food was good, especially for Cleveland. Portions are good as well but not as good as Dearborn! The area is not the best and the first time we had an intoxicated person wander in off the street at 10pm and the owner had to escort him out. Lock your doors! Posted on July 2, 2013 |
