25 Heddon Street, City of Westminster, Greater London W1B 4BH
Perhaps a provocative establishment for those seeking a halal atmosphere. While this restaurant offers popular Moroccan food in an exuberant atmosphere, it's basement is regarded as one of the best bars in London (which may be reflected in the clientele). However, the restaurant upstairs has also been rated as one of the most romantic restaurants in London, so maybe the missus will overlook such details. Reservations required. ★☆☆☆☆ The decor and overall look of the restaurant is lovely, however the food is the complete opposite. I hardly touched my food as it seemed so poor and very many people around me were sending their half eaten over-priced dishes back. Posted on January 12, 2007 |

★★★★★ Food is o.k, not brilliant but this place is unbeatable for decor and atmosphere. You have to experience it. Just the place for a romantic meal. Posted on July 22, 2006 |

★★★☆☆ Far too crowded so we couldn't get in the one-time we tried. However, the decor is fabulous and I hear the food is quite good. If you don't like dark-ish rooms and loud music, this isn't the place for you. The staff (namely the one that tried to tell us to get lost cos the the place was full) was a touch arrogant - enough to turn a customer like me off. I wasn't about to wait 45 min to receive cold service and break my bank paying for the food. Posted on January 23, 2006 |

★★★☆☆ The food was nothing to write home about but the ambience, decor, location and lively crowd makes it a great hangout for people watching. However, it's definitely pricey for what you get. Posted on December 23, 2004 |

★★★★★ This exuberant Morrocan/North African restaurant will definitely surprise you, considering its location near Oxford Circus. From the fabulous menu to the open courtyard between stately buildings to the private downstairs lounge (with excellent musicians on occasion), this restaurant sends you on a journey to Marrakech that's tube-accessible. Beautiful! Posted on May 12, 2003 |

★★★★★ This very trendy Morroccon in the heart of London has a very lively atmosphere with a fabulous exotic decor. The exciting ambience, great friendly service and less than excessive cost all more than make up for the decent/average food to make it an excellent overall experience. The starters are the best items on the menu. For those so inclined, the private members only bar downstairs is very trendy and sometimes the maitre'd can be persuaded to let you go downstairs if the bar isn't full to capacity.
