In 2002 Kazan Victoria opened its doors on Wilton Road, a short stroll from Victoria station. It immediately became popular among clientele who wanted to enjoy Turkish food in a genuine atmosphere. Coming from a family with extensive cooking tradition, the owners were keen to get past the Doner-Kebab cliché with a rich menu (some recipes dating from 500 years ago) of authentic and enticing flavours, importing herbs and spicing from the great Anatolian region.
