Kazan was reported closed or not Halal 4 years ago Turkish-Cypriot brothers Levent and Bulent Hassan opened Kazan Victoria in 2002 with the firm intention to raise awareness of Ottoman cuisine in London. They dreamed of bringing a taste of the orient to the city also and opened their second site in Houndsditch, 2 minutes away from Liverpool St Station at the end of 2008. Coming from a family with extensive cooking tradition, the two brothers were keen to get past the D?ner-Kebab cliché. They have surpassed their goals by offering Kazan's clientele a rich menu (some recipes dating from 500 years ago!) of authentic and enticing flavours, importing herbs and spicing from the great Anatolian region.
