The menus at this restaurant clearly state that Halal food is served. From owner Max Khan: 'All our chicken items are Halal, including the hot wings which we just introduced. Gyros and burgers are Halal. We have made a separate Halal menu for the guest who ask for Halal.'

★☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately staff at the front have gotten more disrespectful as time has passed. VERY RUDE! Food is very bland when there is epic burger and jjfish next door. Highly recommend those places. Posted on July 26, 2019 |

★☆☆☆☆ WARNING: this place SHOULD NOT be considered halal. I asked if they cook their "halal" meat with the same grill as their non-halal. The guy said yes and was quick to end the conversation, making it even more suspicious. "Halal" meat is not valid if it mixes in with the juices of other meats, that's just common sense. ★★★★☆ I ordered a chicken sandwich from here on a business trip at 7am, nice friendly staff. I had to ask what was Halal and was told cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches and the gyro. Chicken sandwich was good, nice fried piece of chicken on a bun. Posted on September 22, 2016 |

★★★★★ Ask what's halal before ordering. I had the spicy gyro. Great value. Seating is limited. Posted on July 29, 2016 |

★★★★★ The chili cheese hotdog is amazing. I highly recommend it. Posted on August 18, 2015 |

★★★★★ This is definitely one of the best Halal burgers I've had. You have to specifically ask for a halal burger (or chicken sandwich) because they do both halal and non-halal, but they are very courteous about it and are extremely quick. Posted on June 20, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ You have to ask for halal items. Food was good. Location was good. Price was good for amount of food given downtown location. No space to enjoy food onsite. Overall good experience. Had gyro cheese burger Posted on October 27, 2014 |

NR Favorite place in chicago for halal gyros! Great flavor! And must order the fries with it! Posted on July 24, 2014 |

NR Fantastic place for a quick bite just two blocks away from the Art Institute, Grant Park, and Millennium Park. We had the spicy double cheeseburger and it was perfect. The wings were meaty and crispy - not very saucy but really delicious. They also had a limited time only Jamaican-jerk chili - if it's still there when you go, do yourself a favor and order it. Service was really fast and there was limited but ample seating at a counter. Portions are good and so is the price, this place is my new go-to spot when I'm downtown. Posted on March 31, 2014 |

★★★★★ The double cheeseburger withe gyro meat was awesome. Be sure to ask for halal. Posted on August 4, 2013 |

★★★★☆ They said they cook the non zabiha and zabiha together, so that i find is an issue. You may ask them to clean the area first or go with the gyro or the chili fries only...your choice. Not an eat in , small take out place with a bar table along one wall for grabbing something quickly Posted on April 26, 2013 |

★★★★★ 4-5-13: I went there today, took a look at there zabihah menu and indulged myself in a tasteful experience. Their double cheese burgers and fries were awesome, almost at par with cost burger and better than Indy... Posted on April 5, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Solid choice downtown if you have a dive-food craving. They deliver in the downtown area as well. Chicken sandwich is big and juicy. Burgers are okay, not the likes of indie burger or coast, but will get the job done. Cheese fries hit the spot. Service is great. Posted on January 21, 2013 |

★★★★☆ You have to mention that you want to see the halal menu. It's printed on orange paper. Love the burgers and chicken sandwiches !!! Posted on December 3, 2012 |

★★★★★ The food is very good. The workers did not have any problem telling me that this place has halal food. If you go to their website, their menu clearly has a Zabihah section. I had the spicy gyros and it was delicious. Just a little pricey; but it is Halal food. Also, I like the Royalty Rewards program. The owner gave me $2.00 off just for signing up. Highly recommend. NR I was there this evening and the guy was not able to tell me if it was halal. He mumbled something about chicken, seem very disinterested. So I am not sure about the authenticity Posted on May 8, 2012 |
