★★★★☆ I like their nehari and malai chicken kebab. Naans are big and hot freshly made very awesome. We always order something to go with Naan. Biryani and katakut is ok too. Haleem was not worth trying ambiance is just average/low/casual. Posted on May 1, 2015 |

★★★★★ I love going Tawakal again and again. His Chicken Tikka and Lamb Karahi are the best in whole area. My office colleagues also love his food. He has paratha also which is very good with BBQ items. He has renovated this place and now you can sit with family there. Posted on October 10, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ They Use DART foam foodservice products. DART uses Animal Tallow and are not Halal. See link below. Be careful about that.

★★☆☆☆ this place is ok, but portions are small and the sauces come as a side which means that you have to buy it. Posted on December 21, 2010 |

★★★★★ The food is fantastic and enjoyed every bite of my entree' would come here again anytime I feel like eating Indian food. The only down side is the ambiance. A clean hole in the wall setting. Posted on June 29, 2010 |

★★★★★ Excellent food. I tried the nihari; loved it and the nan were also very good. They have very little sitting area - and don't expect a fancy setup. It is a converted grocery store. But what they lack in ambience they more than make up with absolutely delicious food. Posted on March 1, 2009 |

★★★★★ Great food...very cool owner. We are just grateful to find another halal Pakistani restaurant in our area. Posted on April 11, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ The food is fairly spicey. The brother is a known practicing Muslim that attends the local Masjid. Dining in is a pleasant experience. It is also a small market for foreign food items The food is afghani/pakistani. Used to be a meat market. They mostly do catering, though. Only criticism would be that the restaurant area should be cleaner. The restaurant has a "B" rating by the city. Posted on March 18, 2008 |

★★★★★ Alhumdulillah - the food is so great here and the owner is a very nice man. Posted on January 20, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ food is decent, depending on how much you pay for catering :). i've had their catered food numerous times, esp during ramadan and can say that for the average patron, the food quality and quantity is average. if you have the money, he will definitely make your catering worthwhile by coming up with really mouthwatering dishes! ★★★★☆ the food is yummy but its a good takeout place! not a great eat in place...great food! Posted on May 15, 2006 |

★★★★★ The food is great (esp. the naan and karhai) but its not really a place to sit and eat. Its more of a take away place. Posted on January 11, 2006 |

★★★★★ mashallah very nice place, good prices, but the place can be upgraded for dining in. owner is a known muslim and very nice brother. Posted on January 9, 2006 |

★★★★★ Nihari and Chicken Tikka are the best. I think its Nihari is the best in the whole San Fernando valley. Posted on November 15, 2005 |

★★★★★ Extremely delicious food, Sheekh kabab and Boti kabab were very tasty.. I went there after Iftar..Alhamdulillah I enjoyed the food and the Naan was tasty too ! It is a big place with grocery, a little mismanaged.. But you are surely going to be overjoyed after eating the food..I agree with all the reviews given below..:) Posted on October 9, 2005 |

★★★★☆ Owners are known Muslims. It is basically a halal grocery shop and a small restaurant. Food quality is good. Normally you have to call before going. But the owner told me that they would soon transform it into a good restaurant as far as the seating arrangement is concern.
The correct phone number is (818) 882-7394 Posted on April 2, 2004 |

★★★★☆ If you're looking for halal meat which is clean and priced right, then look no further! It is also loaded with spices and cookware. They also have a mini restaurant which serves biryani, tikkas, kababs, barbecued chicken and more. This isn't a place for fine dining, however, the food is tasty and they also serve food at the Granada Hills Masjid on Fridays. Posted on August 31, 2002 |
