★★★★☆ I went at tuckaseegee location today. There were signs of al-safa at the entry. The chef and the person at the register seemed to be Spanish but they confirmed everything served is halal. One of them had T-shirt and it said “ US Fried Chicken Authentic Halal food “. The food was good no complaints about that. Pizza seemed to be expensive though. I really wish we could get halal pizza in Charlotte at some reasonable prices. Posted on January 11, 2018

★☆☆☆☆ I agree with GandaBanda. Avoid this place. Look at the history of reviews. There is one from 9/13, then one from 4/14. Then GandaBanda's from 12/31/14. Then there are three reviews praising it as if its the best restaurant in the world in the week following GandaBanda's review on 1/6/15 and 2 on 1/7/15. These three reviews were written by the owner/employees. And all of the comments are justifying the things that GandaBanda pointed out: the rudeness and the uncleanliness. The only people who eat here are the elderly African American men who live in the neighborhood. The review by Maryam points out that there are 'halal' signs everywhere. That is partially true. There are al-safa posters hanging that say "halal products sold here." That doesn't mean that everything is halal. There is no universal indicator that everything is halal - like most other halal restaurants have. My theory is: when in doubt, do without. My advice is to avoid this place. ★★★★★ I came here with my family and the food was amazing. The owner was very polite and very nice to my kids. I ordered the family bucket and cheeseburgers for my family. He made sure we knew that everything was halal. There were a lot of posters and a signatures verification of his food being halal on the wall. The food was so good it made me forget about my moms cooking. We ate in because it was very clean and it was a very nice atmosphere. He let my family pray in his personal prayer room too. It's a nice clean environment , great nice staff members as well , and to the last review, If you're a Muslim you shouldn't be talking behind other Muslims back and start to put in lies about the restaurant. ★☆☆☆☆ Do NOT eat here. The owner (at least I think it was the owner) was so rude. First I called to ask if everything was halal, and he hesitated before answering, so it placed a doubt in my mind. Then when I went in I asked again if everything was halal, just to confirm if it is a full or partial halal menu. He got so offended and said that I am "pissing him off." And he said how dare I ask him a second time when he already told me over the phone that it was halal. He was arguing with me in front of my wife and mother in law. Then he has the nerve to get personal with me and tell me that my goatee is not a "Muslim beard" and I need to get a "Muslim beard." I told him to get a Muslim attitude and we started walking out. He then said "good, we don't want customers like you." So, the rating of a 1 that I gave this scummy restaurant is not for the food, because we left without even ordering. It's because the restaurant is dirty unclean (outside and inside), and the owner is extremely rude and does not know how to treat customers, let alone Muslims. I dare you all to call the restaurant and ask if the food is halal. When he says yes, ask again: "is EVERYTHING halal??" And see what he says. It will be amusing. Posted on December 31, 2014
