★★★★☆ I had the roast chicken on rice for dinner. Food was good and portions were big. The rice was a bit dry but I didn't want to add baba ganoush or hummus to the order because the serving was already too much for me. The premises are clean and service was also good. Posted on April 28, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Let me get one thing clear: Cedars has to be one of the best halal restaurants in all of Charlotte, for quality & quantity of the food. The problem is the service. It's not that they take forever, although they do take a bit of time, but its the owners. They really aren't the nicest people in Charlotte, especially if you're not an Arab. I know several people that have stopped going here because of the way they've been treated. Also, they REALLY overcharge for their food. It's just so expensive when they know they don't need to charge so much. I repeat what I said earlier, the food here is no doubt, amazing and delicious. Posted on November 12, 2012 |

★★★★★ It is a grocery and halal meat store and restaurant. Its noting fancy, but the food is GREAT!!!!!!! AND PRICES ARE GOOD. the 1/2 chicken is the best you must try it. Posted on January 25, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ The food and prices were ok but the location was suspect. It's next to a pub so you may see drunk people standing outside like I did. My wife, sister in law and daughter chose to stay in the car because they were afraid so we took the food to go. Plus the place was dingy, unorganized, and service was very slow. Anyway, I can't say that I'd return, def not with my family. Posted on August 23, 2009 |

★★★★★ I had been to this place after seeing the reference from this website. It is a nice one for family. Although it is a more of a grocery and halal meat store, there is a ample space for dining (around 40 people). As some one else mentioned here, the dining area do not have a high end setting. The service is good and fast. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced.
Other helpful hints..
Rest rooms were clean.
There is a mosque nearby (within 1 mile) Posted on August 20, 2007 |

★★★★★ The food is great! The setting is a little low quality and the wait can be a little long but the food makes up for that. Make sure to try the hummus, shawarmas and their 1/2 chicken dinner. Delicious! Posted on July 12, 2006 |

★★★☆☆ The food is owned by a palastinean guy,
whats grat about this establishment is the existense of the well kept and stocked arabic grocery,in addittion to the halal meat market.I for sure know that the meat used is halal. The resturant is not bad used to be better,i hear thatthe people are complining about the owner cutting corners on the food. That is what i have noticed too,he needs to be more generous with his food!
