The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. From the management: 'We do have halal meals, and all of our menu items are halal.'
★☆☆☆☆ i ordered food to be delivered to my hotel using Grubhub service. They advertise that they give certain item as promotional upon certain clip level. I followed the rules of promo but they failed to honor it. And refused to fix their mistake. Rude behavior. Never going back. Recommend others to be very careful. Posted on August 18, 2018
★☆☆☆☆ My wife and I had an early dinner at this restuarant after reading various reviews. We were starving and walked all the way from Park Street to Royal Pujab.
We ordered a soup & Tandoori Chicken as appetisers and a chicken briyani as our main course.
Our experience at Royal Punjab was very disappointing.
The service at the restaurant was poor. The manager / waiter had no customer skills.
Glasses in which water was served was dirty.
The tandoori starter was raw. Not once during the meal did the waiter come to check if all was okay.
The biryani was spicy and was very hot. It lacked taste and the hard peas did not make chewing enjoyable.
The Manager/ waiter returned at the end of the meal with the bill. He did not ask of we wanted dessert or coffee/tea. He asked if the Tandoori must be packaged as a take-away. We informed him that it was raw and we did not want it.
That was it - no effort was made to rectify or remove the dish from the bill.
I definitely would not return to Royal Punjab for a meal nor would I recommend this restaurant anyone. Posted on March 28, 2018
★☆☆☆☆ Typical yellow and sweet curry Indian food. If you like Pakistani food, dont go there. They have lunch buffet everyday. Choices were very limited. I had the lunch buffet there just because I was staying in Hampton Inn right behind them and had no other choice within walking distance. I was the only one there from south asia and rest of them either locals. Posted on March 31, 2016
