★★★★★ This place has changed a lot, there is a new manager and a new chef.

★★★★☆ Based on my experience there yesterday, this place is a hit! I ordered a chicken samosa as an appetizer, which was freshly made and not bad, but nothing outstanding. My white meat chicken kabab, though, was excellent, Masha'Allah. It was perfectly seasoned and some of the most tender chicken I think I've ever eaten. It came with a side of naan, which was very fresh and deliciously chewy. The "salad" that came with it was some chopped up raw onion and a few pieces of raw green pepper, which I thought was strange and unappetizing (it would have been much better and gone well with the chicken if the vegetables were cooked). Service was not overly friendly, but they got the job done. Since that chicken and naan were so delectable, I will be sure to be back insha'Allah. Posted on September 22, 2012 |

★★★★☆ It was very easy to get here walking from Porter Square. I came with two others and a baby and the staff made us feel very welcome. The place is clean and decorated nicely. We started off with some masala chai while we waited for our kabobs and chicken. Dinner comes with your choice of nan or rice, and we chose the nan, which came in surprisingly generous portions. We had kheer and kulfi for dessert, both of them excellent (and surprisingly cheap! $1.50 for kheer!). We'll definitely be back. Posted on January 28, 2011 |
