★★★☆☆ Well, I have been to the store a few times. Their meat is clean no problems. They serve in packages. The chicken is good and same price like everywhere. However, the beef is more expensive than the other places, which I don't understand why? I asked the owner once why the beef is more expensive than the other places, he said that I provide the other places with all the beef and the prices should be the same!!? Well it is not!
Go figure!
The other thing is that they weigh the meat in the package. Normally, the meat is weighted before the packaging like any other places, either halal or not.
Muslims we should be better than that. Posted on June 23, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ The meat that I have bought here has always been fresh... and I bought meat here probably every week for about a year. My only negative experience has been that their hours are inconsistent. I arrived at the store at 6:30pm one day (they were supposed to close at 7pm that day) and was shooed out by the employee. He yelled something to the effect that everyone knows they close half an hour early or something equally ridiculous. Posted on July 10, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ If you wish your meat to be cut, the way you don't want to! If you want all the fat attached to the meat and you like to recieve a level of service lower than average, then you should shop here. I do not like to talk bad about a muslim's business but I believe it is more important to be fair than to just think that you have to be positive with all muslims. Posted on February 28, 2008 |

★★☆☆☆ The owners seem like nice people, but the customer service is poor to non-existent. However they are the only option in Cambridge. Someone should open up some competition. Posted on January 30, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ I have received badly cut meat and spoiled meat from Al-Hoda. Please, if you buy from there, sniff the meat before leaving the store. I do not like to speak badly of Muslim businesses, but this is a matterr of protecting one's health. Posted on January 6, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ Chickens are poorly cut. Lots of fat and cleaning to do when you get home. Quality could be better. Close to Cambridge masjid. Posted on July 22, 2002 |

★★★★★ Excellent fresh Halal beef, chicken and lamb. The store also sells goat but I havent tried it. I also tried there own made Algerian merguez (sausages), great. Sells middle-eastern bread, juices, beans, couscous, Indo-Pak and Arabic spices. Varieties of cheese, olives, and lots more. Located on Prospected Street 2 blocks past the Islamic Society of Boston. Best to call your order before hand. Posted on April 18, 2001 |
