The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status. Only the lamb is Halal, coming from certified Halal providers in Australia. If you ask the staff about Halal meat, they will have no idea. Fogo de Chao headquarters has confirmed that all the lamb chops are only brushed with salt and are entirely halal. The lamb shank is basted with white wine BUT if you tell them you do not want wine they will prepare an entirely separate leg for you.
If online ordering is available, you'll see a button to do so here.
NR I think your explanation is poor, you said halal because its only salted but how about the way animal was killed. Aside from whats everyone's definition for halal, most agreed about is that ita only halal if the animal was killed in Islamic way. So can you please confirm that? Posted on April 8, 2018
We clarified it - all the lamb comes from Halal sources in Australia according to the headquarters.
★★★★★ Only the lamb is zabihah. I spoke to the manager who confirmed. The lamb is from New Zealand. It is expensive but delicious. They serve rack of lamb and roast lamb. There is a buffet with plenty of salads, cheeses, rice, and fruit. Posted on April 27, 2017
