★★★★★ Went to Brother Yasin's store. It is a neat small store situated conveniently across Shopright on Avenue B. He has all the cuts of meat, has lamb AND goat for a lot of customers, can be trusted for halal and a neat assortment of imported goods (ie biscuits, olives, spices) as well as wholesale olives, lentils chickpeas. Inshallah he expands his business. I would love something like a fresh vegetable or spice wrack.
I imagine it is hard to gain visibility in that part of Bayonne so I would definitely encourage Muslims in the area to visit him. Despite a sizeable Muslim population Bayonne has next to zero as far as ethnic or gourmet markets and restaurants. We should encourage such business Posted on August 2, 2013 |
