★☆☆☆☆ The waiter(Indian guy)is very rude. He just simply can throw the bill infront of us when we ask for the bill. I wont come bck here again and the food also is expensive. Will not really recommended. Posted on June 3, 2013 |

NR Went there twice, however it was closed on both occasions. No signs to advise whether it was closed temporarily, or opening hours. Posted on May 10, 2011 |

★★★★☆ this restaurant is just a walking distance around the area of baiyoke sky hotel, baiyoke boutique hotel and pratunam clothes market. i did not realize this restaurant until the 3rd day of our visit when one of my friend's in our tour group went into one of the soi's around the area and found this restaurant. during the night time, you might miss it as there are a lot of clothing stalls put up in front of the restaurant.
we were starving for dinner as we did not eat properly during lunch. we ordered food for 5 - tomyam soup, fried chicken with basil, omelette, fried kale with salted fish (but when it arrived at our table it was fried kale with salted beans) and fried fish. food was DELICIOUS !! while waiting for food to arrive, we saw a group of Chinese whom was eating too and I asked them how was the food and their response was "very good" !!
service was fast despite many people in the restaurant at that time. the total bill came about THB700. we made a pact to eat at the same restaurant for our last lunch in Bangkok on the next day before checking out from the hotel.
however just one complaint though - the waiter that served us was rude and yawning at our face when taking our orders. she refused to repeat our order (as we want to avoid any mistakes) and claimed that she was tired. we asked to speak to the manager in charge after our lunch on the next day but unfortunately the person was not around at that point of time. the waiters also seemed did not understand any English except what is written on the menu Posted on January 29, 2011 |

★★★★★ Maedah have maintain a excellent food quality till today but there seems to be some changes.Menu have been reduced and upper floor is now close. Also, more Halal Food court are mushroom in Bgi Mall is is much cheaper and value for money . Eg Chicken Curry Rice in Platinum Fashion Mall Food Court only cost BHT 35...
Competiton is heating up and they need to raise the bar before its too late.
Halal Stores in Food Court are very cozy, easy to access and reasonable price. Posted on November 12, 2009 |

★★★★★ been there 4 years ago, been there last nov, been there again aug this year, and the food served to me and my family/ friends remained unchanged at all! still very tasty and most importantly, fast and reasonable. after reading so much of wonderful remarks about mak yah 'rest i found myself hard to resist the temptations to try out there. but was so disappointed anyway. for those who praised so much about it guess they had not try at maedah 'rest (they'd be really surprised). i must say i've enjoyed every single moment at your rest. keep up the good work! ★★★★☆ Went there in June 2007. It is very near to Baiyoke Suite & Baiyoke Sky Hotels, Pratunam. Can be bit costly but serving for my fried rice was generous. Can be shared by 2 pax even. Posted on June 29, 2007 |
