★★★★☆ The food is Halal Posted on January 25, 2016 |

★★★★☆ I asked around and reached at the conclusion that they serve halal meat. Their buffet is nice! Posted on October 6, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Since I have not been there in a while, I cannot confirm the current zabiha status. The owners and managers are more interested in serving non-muslim and non-desi customers. Food is okay, but because of the bad service and rude attitude on several occassions I have stopped going there, and would rather starve than end up there. Posted on May 15, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ I've heard through the grapevine and from sources that Cafe Bombay likely does not serve halal food so I stick to veg dishes when I do end up here. It's always packed when I visit though so people definitely like their food. Posted on November 26, 2011 |
If you can get more specific confirmation for us, we will update the listing accordingly. |

★★★★☆ Food is good. Chicken is the only halal thing. They usually take it from the guy next to them whom I knew very well.
They surf alcohol. Posted on May 28, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Their food is the best Indian cuisine I've had in all of Georgia, but I doubt the food is Halal, because the owners are Hindu and even have a statue of Ganesh (the Hindu elephant god) next to the counter.
The buffet is well worth the price, but I'd advise against going for dinner because the food can get real pricey. I took 5 other people there for dinner, and the total came out to be around $220, when we each ordered one dish, but 3 baskets of naan (with about 6 slices of naan per basket). They tend to charge ridiculous amounts for 4 slices of naan, for dinner. Posted on May 31, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ CAFE BOMBAY IS NOT HALAL!
I went to eat there and asked the guy if they serve Halal food. He not only said "yes" but also further told me that it is "Zabiha halal" he serves. I, being in Atlanta for a long time now, asked him from where does he get his chicken/meat? He told me the guy next door. Apparently, there is a halal meat shop next to his. So i decided to go check out from the meat shop next door. There, the guy told me that Cafe Bombay guy never gets any meat from him. As such, alhumdolillah, a little effort saved me from eating haram food. Posted on January 13, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ This is now called Bombay Palace but in the same location and still halal per the owners. The food quality dropped off a little bit before the name change. Their grill items are still decent. Posted on February 4, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ I used to eat there until they raised their prices. The food is not worth what they're charging. Sorry. Posted on July 13, 2003 |
