★★★☆☆ I was so happy when we discovered this place. It's something different and unique for the DMV area. I think the food is supposed to be Bosnian? The people working there are Turkish, and there's a little European grocery shop connected to it next door. Most of the dishes I've had here are pretty good. The burger is fantastic, so is the grilled chicken sandwich. They have delicious meat and spinach burek too, which are like savory pastries. They serve the sandwiches on Turkish bread, which has a great texture and fluffiness, but can get a bit dry. The sandwiches get served with a big dollop of mayo and a few slices of lettuce, tomato and onion, which doesn't really give much flavor or appeal, but maybe that's just how this food is supposed to be eaten? Not really sure.
They have a mixed grill platter that is like $13, but has a selection of all of their meats. It's a big portion and a pretty great value. The flavor of the meat itself and the portion sizes I think are great enough to keep coming back. Seating is horrible though, there's only a few chairs, lined against the wall. Also, if they're busy, it can take like 30-40 mins to get your food. Prices are pretty good, but the minimum charge for credit card is a bit high, like $10 I think, when a sandwich is only like $5. I end up having to order extra, or go with friends and charge meals together. Posted on October 22, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ This restaurant is not that great. I prefer something with a little more flavor and not that bland. I've had better Turkish food before. Posted on August 14, 2011 |

★★★★★ Called ahead twice and was assured everything was zabihah. Everything here is really good, can't fail w/ the mixed platter or the iskender kabob. Posted on June 18, 2011 |

★★★★★ This is a great turkish owned fast food place.. I am surprised that no one else reviewed.. First thing first: this is not a place to sit down and eat with family.. there are couple of barstools, but no tables or seating area. This is a great place to take out Delicious burgers.. tasty buns $7 (no sides though)
I have tried:
Adana Burger 5/5
Bosnian Burger 5/5
Kofta Burger 4/5
If you are in the area and need a quick bite.. def stop by. I lived near Huntington Station for over a year and only found out about the place two weeks before moving. Wish I knew before.
btw, the owner, Noor, is a very nice and friendly lady and was really nice to my mom when we stopped to pick up burgers.
(I like the red hot sauce more than mayo) Posted on March 15, 2011 |
