★★★★★ It is a very warm, clean and neat place (this is very important to me in a restaurant) with very good food. The staff, who is very friendly and welcoming, always do their best to help you to choose what to eat if you don't know nothing about middle eastern food (like me). I would say the best are their desserts, particularly the date cookies.
Usually I come on weekends, then don't know how it is during the week. So in weekends, if you are in a rush this is not the restaurant for you. This is a place to sit calmly and enjoy the food. Usually I come alone but from what I have seen it is a great place for family or group gatherings. Posted on March 16, 2013 |

★★★★★ Wonderful place and amazing food specially chicken shawarma platter Posted on September 11, 2019 |

★★★★☆ Their chicken shawarma wrap is very good. Shish taouk is delicious as well BUT their khabsa was very disappointing- they just added shish taouk chicken on rice and called it khabsa. Posted on December 23, 2017 |

NR Amazing food, nice staff and perfect ambiance. One of the best place for foodies. Shawarma, lamb kabob, chicken kabob, even the Humus was authentic in taste. 5 out of 5 rating from me and my family 👍🏼 Posted on October 17, 2017 |

★☆☆☆☆ This place is a joke if you are seeking for a good customer service and honesty. One of my worst experiences so far to try their food with a Groupon which apparently you will not see them happily accepting it. Its like 'here is another customer with a Groupon and he expects us to stay nice to him as well'. Their menu item, specifically 'Mixed Turkish Grill' tells you that you would get 'Veggie Rice' but you end up getting White Rice. So confusing and misleading. The owner would argue with you that they are right and you 'the customer' is wrong. Well Mr Owner, you Win by loosing another customer. A word of advise for the owner is to Be Nice to your customers, they bring you business; the least you can do is show respect. You go for lunch with a Groupon of $11 and you end up paying $24 extra which means a total of $35 for one person for lunch. UNBELIEVEABLE. The waitress would remind you at checkout that your Groupon does not include the Tip and you look at her face and think inside your heart that you did not even say a single word of 'Thanks' during the whole time of serving me and yet you deserve to be tipped. Their meat smell and it is just an average food. Nothing special at all. Pathetic place. I really really really feel bad for writing the worst review ever of my life for a place owned by Muslims but I wanted to explain my frustration for future visitors and maybe this way the owner/management of this place would learn to improve; i doubt it though! ★★★★★ This restaurant is worth its weight in gold. The ingredients they use are superb! Unlike other Middle Eastern Restaurants, their food is original just like back home. The main ingrediants are lebanese food. It is better than Lebanese Taverna which uses canned food .. everything is made fresh and thrown out if not consumed that day - very high quality ingredients like home cooking if not better!!!
Try the Kibe (stuffed meat with cracked wheat)
Try the warak enab (grape leaves)
Try the Chicken Shawarma (the best in all of DC Metro) - has gralic in it, no carots and lettus - like the other places which do unoriginal stuff
Yes the price matters (you get what you pay for) other restaurants charge less, but the food is not as good
If you like the persian style kubede (kabob) that is not spicy - but it is excellent!
Favorite Tagine (lamb) - that from Morocco
The tabouli is realy realy good
the Humus is excellent
Have not had this tasty food in years
Oh, forgot! try the sambosa (that is an original) I have only had that in Kuwait 30 years ago.. never to have in this country yet except here!!! (small by size but stuffed with meat and green beans (pakistani origin but the pakistani is different has potato instead - i like this better)
I am originally lebanese, and I am telling you this restaurant is original lebanese food
He has also Manakeesh be jebne and Manakeesh bzatar (that is excellent home Zaatar - he mixes it himself)
(white cheese) and the other is (herbs - sesame seed, crushed oregano, sumac (red sour stuff really good), good quality olive oil
highly recommend it!!
VERY CLEAN!! BATHROOM SHININING!! ZAGAT SHOULD RECOMMEND! Posted on May 8, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Two words.

★★★★☆ The food is definitely great and the atmosphere is slightly upscale from other restaurants which adds a nice touch. The staff is very friendly as well. They do have a laid back atmosphere the two times we have went (for dinner), so if you are looking to rush this may not be the place. But if you are looking for a nice atmosphere and a restaurant friendly to kids with great food, this is a great place to go. Posted on July 5, 2012 |

★★★★★ I usually hate Middle Eastern food (My wife loves it) I had a chicken wrap (can't remember the actual name) and it done extra spicy. All I can say is WOW it was great. Posted on May 11, 2011 |

★★★★★ Really good service, nice place to sit, great food presentation, and absolutely delicious food.
We had gotten to restaurant a little late so our shawarma was a bit dry but it was still really good! Posted on March 23, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Very clean and well lit place. I love their wrap sandwiches. But I didn't like the Turkish pizza (it was too greasy and flavorless for me). Note that not everything is halal in this store. According to the owner, they buy gyro meat from the outside vendor and it is not halal. Posted on March 22, 2011 |

★★★★★ Wonderful restaurant. Extensive menu from a variety of Arab countries as well as Turkey. Completely zabihah halal.
I've gone multiple times in the past two weeks and tried a variety of their dishes. All are very flavorful and have an amazingly fresh, rich, and homecooked taste.
My favorite dishes so far are the mixed Iraqi grill (the kofta kabobs are great) and the Turkish pizza. The iskandar kabab is also prepared very well. The lamb tagine is a nice offering -- something you can't get at the regular kabab joints. The kibbeh and grape leaves appetizers were very nice. I also enjoyed the Turkish coffee.
I've taken family members and friends to this restaurant. Also recommended it to co-workers, some of whom happen to be non-Muslim. All have enjoyed it immensely.
The restaurant itself is totally new, very clean, and spacious. The service is excellent. I can't find a negative thing to say about the place. I would give it six stars if I could. Posted on February 28, 2011 |

★★★★★ This place is incredible. The food was excellent and tasted totally authentic. I had the chicken soup along with the Turkish Pizza. Both were cooked well and were delicious. The prices are decent and the customer service is top of the line. The place has a nice setting and is neat and clean. I really hope to return to try their other menu items (they have a huge menu) as well as their lunch buffet. This place is definitely worth checking out. Posted on February 12, 2011 |

★★★★★ There is absolutely nothing not to like about it. Warm, fresh pita bread out of the oven, right in front of you…..Nothing can top that, nothing. Great for a family, great atmosphere, but it's fun for a group of friends too. The food was delicious, the bill was ridiculously cheap for the amount of food we got and, of course, the restaurant is located few minutes from Reston town center. I would come back here. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. And there are many dishes I haven't yet tried. Give Granada a go... You won’t be disappointed Posted on January 21, 2011 |
