★★★★★ Excellent eatery. Modern ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean. Very healthy options, which is uncommon with halal restaurants. Seams like a mediterranean version of chipotle, but better. The owner is Muslim, and confirmed that the chicken and lamb are halal, but not beef or gyro. Lamb only offered at dinner. I got the quinoa bowl with one of the sauces and grilled chicken, and you can load up on grilled veggies and salads on top of the bowl. We also got Hummus, they give a lot of Pita. The other person working there was a very nice black muslim (I assume due to his knowledge of the food) who was also helping with/knowledgable about halal options. The chicken was a little tough, i actually wish I got the falafel instead. Food was overall tasty. The owner also stated all the soups and sauces are free of animal based broths. Especially great option if people in your party are looking to eat healthy. Inshallah with more business they may turn fully halal like Sultan did. Please support this business, hard to believe it's in a small town in Rochester, while other bigger cities still have mostly hole-in-the-wall, can't-bring-your-work-friends type places.
