★★★★★ This is wonderful Pakistani food in Vegas. But real treat is host. Wonderful service and very professional behaviour of team here. Must try in Vegas. Posted on July 22, 2022 |

★★★★☆ I had a burger combo for lunch today. Service was extremely friendly but slow. The cashier was sweeping the floors but the place seemed not clean enough. The food was good though it was slightly on the expensive side. Posted on July 11, 2022 |

★★★★★ I have only tried 5 items here so far and everything was finger lickin' good. They make excellent "chat", great juicy burgers and kabobs of course. It is not a fancy place but if you care more about taste service, you have to look no further. I am not sure why other people reviewing their service as poor? I was greeted by the guy behind the counter, he explained all my questions and was very friendly and courteous. He also let me buy some food for a homeless person who was standing outside in 118 degrees heat. He chased him down and brought him back and made sure that we witnessed him getting the food. A very unusual thing for a manager to do, as most would have just run a poor person away. I would definitely be going back there again. Posted on August 17, 2020 |

★★★★★ Very good food, would highly recommend. In brief, went here with my two boys for lunch. Had lunch buffet during middle of the week and food was VERY good and fresh. Tandoori chicken, lamb shwarma, goat curry, chicken tikka masala, chicken chili(excellent), naan, veggie dishes, daal etc excellent. One son had philly cheese steak and that was also excellent. Got cheeseburgers to go and later that night had them and they were excellent. HIGHLY recommended! Posted on July 28, 2016 |

|
★★★★★ Lunch buffet is really good
menu included chicken tikka masala, Chicken karahi, Lamb Gyro pieces( Highly rec)
Chicken biryani, all vegetarian dishes and naan etc
Luch buffet is from 11-4 and its for 8.95$/ head
cant beat that , i believe this is cheapest any where in Vegas
Close to strip- Not too Far but not walkable
If you are looking for esp Pakistani Taste you shoudl visit it( not too spicy not too bland)
we ate here twice in two days
All certifications regarding " Zabihah Halal" are posted there in the restaurant Posted on May 13, 2016 |

★★★★★ it's NOT closed. it's located at the address in the description. the food was really good; I had the seekh kabab and chicken karahi. both were decent. they were out of nihari ( I went at 10:30pm) and the lady told me they make fresh nihari everyday and it usualy sells out by closing time (11pm). overall good experience. as usual with understaffed paki restaurants service a bit slow but food worth the wait. naan were above par. ★☆☆☆☆ DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! This place is filthy and disgusting and they claim they are muslim and zabihah. They should be ashamed. I had family visiting from Canada and they insisted on staying downtown I told them about several other kabob places in town however they came here. As we approached this place there was vomit and homeless people harboring around the restaurant. Once we were inside it got worst. Bad service with bad food and a very uncleanly environment does it for me. Never Again!! Posted on April 16, 2014 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ Horrible place! The reviews are probably falsified by the owner.
The place is extremely filthy. Ripped benches. Very unprofessional and unfriendly. Food took over 35 min to make. People ordered food after us, and theirs took longer than 40 min!
Food was horrible. Smelled like raw meat, no flavor at all.
Don't recommend this place at all! Posted on March 27, 2014 |
|
|
★★★★★ Best food ever! Shawarma plate with rice combo is a must have. The gyros could be a little better but all the rice plates are to die for. The rice is the best in Vegas and the salad is also delicious. Love their drink selection as well. Nothing hits the spot like a root beer and a kabab plate! Posted on March 27, 2014 |
|
|
★★★★★ BEST FOOD EVER! I love that we can have Halal burgers and gyros. To top that off they are really really good. Posted on October 4, 2013 |

★★★★☆ This place has made its mark in Vegas, being one of the first halal joints - and continues to stay in business after many years. Br. Ali and his wife, who own the restaurant, are very friendly, my husband and I knew them very well after being ongoing patrons. They have reasonable prices and tasty comfort food. Fremont street had an uplift a few years ago, so it looks decent - hey, it's Vegas. Yes, one may feel the neighborhood is shady, but I have never felt "threatened". Seating is limited, so you do see many muslims take out food instead of dining in. Posted on August 21, 2013 |
|
|
★★★★★ The food was very good and it was cooked fresh. The prices were very affordable. The owner was very nice, we made a mistake and ordered the wrong plate and the owner replaced it with the correct plate for free even though it was our mistake. We were only in vegas for 2 days and even though there were so many other resturant choices in the area we decided to go back and eat there on our second day as well Posted on August 15, 2013 |

★★★★★ الأكل ممتاز والمكان نظيف ويوجد مكان للصلاة .. واوصي بطبق الدجاج ولكن يحتاج ان تطلبه قبل ان تصل لانه يحتاج 25 دقيقة Posted on March 2, 2013 |

|
★★★★☆ Pros:
Good food - I really like their gyro and order it for take out about once a month. I have not tried the remainder of menu though. The gyro is tasty and they really pack it with a lot of meat - the fries are good too and I like that they use a seasoned salt rather than the plain stuff.
Cons:
Fremont street and everything that goes along with it; meaning: drunks, homeless and general riff raff. Not that I have a huge issue with it if I'm alone but I would rather not bring my wife and son here; I usually get it take out. Posted on January 5, 2013 |

★★★★★ good location, just at the end of the Fremont Light Experience. Friendly manager. I had the chicken tikka, servied with salad, rice and a pita bread. My wife had the tikka pita. Looked good albeit a bit smallish serving.
Good tasty food, waited about 10 or 15minutes, no complaints as they cook it while you wait.
Steady flow of customers while we were there, overhead another group who dined a day before and had to come back to get more! Another lady had some allergies and manager gladly explained what each dish contains to put her mind at ease. Posted on November 5, 2012 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ Very poor service.. Half of the options mentioned in the menu are not available!!! Disappointed!!!
Make sure you have enough time or you have ordered in advance... Takes ages for them to get your food ready... So would be better if you eat starters first, else you'll starve...
Ambience wise looks shaby!
Not coming back ever!!! Posted on September 3, 2012 |

★★★★☆ We were in Vegas and looking for a Halal place and went to this restaurant based on the review on this site. First of all this place is located half a block from Fremont Experience so it is in the middle of touristy area and if you are not paying attention you will miss their sign.
The customer base seems to be mostly tourists or visitors like us who come looking for desi/halal food.
I asked if the food was halal over the phone and the I was too that it is not only halal but Zabiah. It was heartening to hear that they made the distinction. They also have many signs in the restaurant indicating the Zabiah and halal status.
The person behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful and it was a joy chit chatting with him.
The place is a little run down and the food was average but overall I feel the place deserve four stars. If they were to make te food a bit better then it can be a five star place. Posted on July 28, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ I stopped by in August of 2011 on a Saturday night and have meant to leave a review since. The food is definitely halal with the certificate being in plain view, the owner was very friendly when we started talking about Islam. I had brought a guest and we were both happy with our orders: she had shrimp and I had a chicken plate. I loved it so much I ordered a hamburger to go, which was delicious.
They have a spicy red sauce which is absolutely worth the visit here to add to any chicken or meat meal. Pour it on the hamburgers!
Having said that, the place is in a hard to reach place and there's the usual clowns up and down Freemont. Parking is a bit tough, so you'll probably park/pay spot. The place could use new tables and during the summer, even at night, it's hot by the windows, but that's Vegas, I guess.
Would I return? Yes, Insha'allah/ Posted on March 20, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ went there yesterday, i have never reviewed a restaurant but this one is so bad that i feel that i have to. i went here with my family and it was the worst excuse for middle eastern and pakistani food that i have ever seen. the owner is extremely rude, looks like he doesnt want to be there and isnt responsive to half the things that you say to him. we went around 4pm and there was not a single person in the shop other than the owner, then we sat down at the wobbly, sticky, and dirty tables and werent even offered menus or anything, we had to go up and get them from the counter. this would be fine if there was a large sign that had a list of all the foods they had to offer and what not (like at a fast food place or something). i ordered the shrimp basket, it said that i would get 25 but i barely got 20 (i can forgive that) but none of the shrimp had been deveined, when i asked the owner if they forgot he said that they ordered the shrimp breaded and dumped them in the fryer. i couldnt eat them so they all went to waste and even when the owner saw that he did not apologize for it. then i ordered the falafel wrap, that was another thing that had been dumped in the fryer and put into a piece of bread. the whole thing was soggy and i was barely able to eat that. the rest of my family ordered kabob plates and the kabobs were over cooked, and the tiny portion of rice that cam with it was drenched in oil, probably so they would only have to cook rice once every 3 days. overall, dirty restaurant, soggy overcooked food, rude owner. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE. probably good food if you are drunk or something. it might have been a good restaurant in the past, but not anymore. Posted on February 26, 2012 |

★★★★★ Our family ate it there last week. The food is unexpectedly very delicious!! I had the gyro, it was really very tasty & my kids loved the Chicken Tikka & the Knock out Burger. My daughter tried the Boti Kabobs, they were delicious as well!
One suggestion that if they make the place little bit more nicer, I think it may appeal to more people. The service was quick, and the guy on the register was fine too! I'm actually looking forward to try the rest of the things on the menu! Posted on January 19, 2012 |

NR The food is good. Pricing is average. But, the service is very bad:very rude owner. He took our order and when I wanted to add sth more , he replied: No, wait untill we finish the orders. Posted on January 1, 2012 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ Very rude service. The guy would not take the order.. You keep waiting and when I asked him to take my order he said he already have 50 orders and would not take any for another 30 min.
I would not go there ever.. Rude owner with attitude. Posted on December 26, 2011 |

★★★★★ Went there while on vacation, excellent food and of course Halal. Had their cheeseburger, chicken gyro, and chicken boti platter, everything was very tasty and delicious. Unfortunately they close early even on the weekends, so make sure you get there before 10pm, cause they close at 10:30. Posted on December 11, 2011 |

★★★★★ Loved it, Great knock out burgers, juicy and wholesome, Philly steak sandwich was very good too, mixed BBQ platter was little under sized for the price, neighborhood is little shabby, but can easily find free parking after 6pm Posted on October 19, 2010 |

|
★★★★★ I don't remember the place so vividly, but I remember being very impressed and going twice in two days. I don't do that too often, so I guess that means something. I believe I had the philly cheese, which was great -- and their Pakistani menu was solid, too.
Also remember the staff being very friendly. Posted on September 24, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Very descent food all around. You can't complain much since Vegas has very few halal restaurants to begin with. The chicken tikka and boti kabobs are solid but nothing out of the ordinary. Posted on August 18, 2010 |
|
|
★★★★☆ I'm glad I found this place because Vegas does not have too many halal restaurants. They have a variety of kabobs, chili dogs, cheese steak, fried chicken, and etcetera. Posted on July 28, 2010 |
|
|
★★★★★ Thanks to this website, we finally got some meat in vegas :) i agree with the other comments, where this place is like a hole in the wall and you have to pay $10 for parking across the street.
however the food is exceptionally good..the boti kababs, chicken tikka, gyro, knockout burger and beef kabob was amazing. your best bet would be to order the food about 20 minutes in advance and take it to your room and eat it within the cool confines of your lovely hotel :) Posted on July 1, 2010 |

★★★★★ We lived in Las Vegas for 2 years and went there regularly. Their menu is not traditional Pakistani but is a mixture of Pakistani, Mediterranean and American food. Their food is delicious. Their Philly Cheesesteak subs are excellent and we are really addicted to them. Chilly cheese burger and chilli chicken is also very good. If one doesn't want to pay $10 for the parking across the street, one can drive to the end of the block and then turn right. There is metered parking which is free the evening. ★★★★☆ the decor may not be as depicted in the attached photos but the food is still good. The portion is large enough for 2 person but that is just me. I see caucasians happily finishing their plates. the food is excellent. the owner. Ali who is also the cook, delivery guy and the life of the place is very charming. the rice items is nice. the Pita bread is excellent, i didn't eat them but few other patrons are giving me the same advice. really worth the visit and location is next to the famous fremont street with plenty of parking space. few motels around the place too. Posted on April 14, 2010 |

★★★★★ One of the most delicious desi food i have eaten in this restaurant. i was on a vacation n found out about this place so i gave it a try n was worth it....The chicken tikka and chicken boti kabab is worth a try but just be warned, its best !!I will recommend this place to all my friends and family. ★★★★★ wife & I was in las vegas for a week, and this restaurant just kept us going back again n again! Loved their food and service.we had chili chicken and Chicken kabab W, Rice. Both were awesome. Also tried their knockout burger and lamb gyro and enjoyed it. Man, their Chai was also great....I'm a chai specialist myself, and tried some from other restaurants on strip, but theirs was the best. V simply liked this restaurant the best outta all on las vegas. Oh ye, their prices and food quantity is also good. THUMBS UP :)remind me food street Lahore,,,, Posted on March 15, 2010 |

★★★★☆ visited this last weekend. Food and service was good. Had Philly steak burger and boneless chicken. Both were good. did take-out as didn't find sit in too appealing, but then i'm very fussy. There is a 15 min. free parking just outside the restaurant. Would recommend the place as i have no complains. I was just excited to have a halal meal in Vegas and only 7-10 min. drive from the strip. Posted on October 5, 2009 |

★★★★★ we went to kabab korner on 4th of july 2009.
i must say that it is probably the best Halal American Food in U.S in my opinion. chicken wings are simply awesome. they are served with suace but i wouldnt spoil the awesome taste by diping them in sauce. we had chicken and "knock out burger" i have to say that is lives up to its name. we took chicken and phily stake sub to our hotel and both were wonderful. i would consider going to kabab korner as one of the attractions of visiting Vagas. NR My wife and I tried to go here last month while on a weekend visit to Las Vegas and was surprised to see the place was closed on Sundays! It would make more sense for the owners to close on a Monday or Tuesday, since many people come to Vegas on the weekend and there are not very much Halal options. Just a suggestion. Posted on June 30, 2009 |

★★★★★ Great food and great service right across from the Fremont Street Experience. Tea was also good. Value was good and the hot roti was excellent. We had number of dishes but esp liked the popcorn chicken. Posted on June 12, 2009 |

-pay parking
-area is sketchy - keep your guard up
-wait time was a little too long Posted on December 31, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Visited this week. Great food. Service hours for the restaurant are also convenient as you could visit them after the shows are over at 9 PM.
Picked up food three times and tried different items. Kids liked the chesse burgers. Location is little bid further from the key restaurants but the trip worth it.
Definitely recommend and will visit again if we are visiting Las Vegas. Posted on December 27, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Very good food, we went there twice... my husband had philly steak sub and I had chicken tikka platter very nice not too spicy but very fresh and tasty. My kids had fried chicken that was good too. The next day we had chicken kabob they were good as well. if you get tired of eating American food definetly go there to eat some desi food. Posted on July 25, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Kabob Korner a very good halal zabihah restaurant. This is not a good proper sit down restaurant. The restaurant has some benches and table where you can sit and eat but not like a proper restaurant. The owners are Pakistani Muslims. We ate their twice. Food was very low in cost. It is located in downtown, very close to Fremont street experience. It takes about 15 mins to get the food served so the best thing is to call them before and order the food on phone and then get there within 15 mins. We tried their beef cheese burger, Seekh Kabob, Lamb Gyro, Chicken Tikka and every thing was delicious. Posted on June 16, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Good Food... Poor Service...When we arrived the owner was having an arguement with a customer and right after the customer went back to his table he told us he was about to kick the previous customer out... Later on the customer came back and it was confirmed the mistake was on the owners part and not the customers. Going for good food...go there.. expecting a dine in atmosphere DONT go there. ★★★★★ Alhumdulillah!
This is a great restaurant with food choices from tikka to burgers. The burgers were great and the service was fast and friendly. They have made me a loyal customer. Anyone and everyone should stop by this spot their next trip to vegas. Posted on December 27, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Walking distance from the Old Vegas Freemont district. Variety of American/Italian fast food plus Indo/Pak dishes. Owner got a little ticked off when I asked if the food was Zabihah. We ended up having a Halal vs Zabihah discussion. He did provide certificates and packages showing the food was halal. Food was good, served promptly, great variety, reasonable prices in an expensive Las Vegas. Great change from all the buffets. Posted on December 19, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Very good food. But takes a little longer to get the food (maybe cooking meet require longer time that's why). We tried all kabobs (spicy)....just great. Call ahead and order your food and then dine in there. This way you can save atleast 20 minutes waiting time. Posted on November 27, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ Salamz, we ate at this restaurant recently on a visit to vegas. I must say, this place came highly recommended from a family friend, but I felt dissapointed. The food was good (even though I think they need to let it cook for maybe 2 more minutes to ensure its fully cooked * but that might just be my personal preference) but the owners were not nice at all. I tried to initiate converstations during our visit, but they seemed very uninterested. We tried their chilli chicken and seek kabobs. They were very tasty, but as I said they needed to be cooked for a few more minutes. I would also recommend to the owner they try to keep their place more neat and clean, as it seems a bit cluttered with coke cans lying on the floor and other items taking up space. ★★★☆☆ What a change in less than one year. Last year when we visited, they had great food and clean restaurant. Now the quantity has shrunk to minimum, the quality is down and restaurant is mostly dirty. Plus the owners keep bad mouthing the Philly Stake which is 3 shops down from this restaurant. ★★★★☆ My husband and i recently visited this resturant. My husband being paki really liked their paki food. I am mexican so i got the philly steak n cheese which was okay. But he highly recomends their paki selections. While the two owners there did bad mouth all the other halal resturants in the area, the food was good. Posted on April 25, 2007 |

★★★★★ My name is Ocie H. Burton II and I'm a businessman in the Las Vegas area and have eaten at the Kabob Korner and the former eatery (Philly Steak Express, here daily in '05-'06)when I operatee the phone counter at the Discount Grocery Market across the street. I have always found the food very, very good; hot; Halal; served in a timely fashion;first class courteous service from Bro. Ali and his wife. In my hectic business schedule now I look forward to sitting in the new location and relaxing with a nice plate of food in front of me. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! Posted on April 22, 2007 |

★★★★★ Great food. The Shawarma sandwiches were HUGE (I mean really really big) and very delicious. My Favorite was the Chicken Chilli Sahwarma (spicy). I have read some bad reviews. I wonder if its the work of a jealous competitor. No idea. I was visiting last summer and besides the tasty food the owner was nice enough to make me a huge pot of TEA to go at my request with my food. GREAT FOOD. Posted on March 4, 2007 |

★☆☆☆☆ this is the worst service i ever experienced. first it took 45 minutes for our kabob orders to get to us and then the portion was really small and the food cold. when i complained about spending over $30 for cold kabobs i was actually yelled at. the food was poorly seasoned and small portion too. ★☆☆☆☆ Astaghfuallah. I am lowering my review because of the unislamic character and business practices of this restaraunt. This includes continued efforts conducted today when a brother was told by this places owner that his competitor (another Halal restaurant) sales pork. How can one sale Halal food and wontonly break the Qu'ran and Sunnah. Astaghfuallah. Posted on February 6, 2007 |

★★★★☆ This is an ok place with great food. I ate there several times and the food was fresh and inexpensive. The owners were wonderful!! For those above who want more spice in their food, try letting the cook know when you order. They can't be phychic! Chicken Tikka was excellent with a nice serving size. Posted on December 26, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ We recently visited Kabob Korner and were excited to try it after seeing such good reviews. Unfortunately it is over-rated. Both the chicken and beef kabobs were too salty and it overwhelmed the flavor of the kabobs themselves (you'd think that their signature dish would instead be great!). The ambience is horrible - really just a dirty, run down diner. And the location is even more sketchy - we were worried about getting mugged just walking to the car. The food is average, the rest is very poor. Posted on December 24, 2006 |

★★★★☆ I was in Las Vegas for 3 weeks and I used to come daily to Kabob Korner for my dinner. I would give 8/10 over all points for taste considering the fact we are in the desert. I tried both American and desi dishes. The only suggestion I would give is make it spicier or use more different desi spices. I am very thankful to the owner for serving Halal food and making our life easy for Muslims (Black, white, Arab, Indo-pak) who are visiting or living in Vegas. At the end you cannot expect perfect desi cooking in the middle of no where. And I see this restaurant is heading in the right direction.

★★☆☆☆ After reading such great reviews, I decided to try out Kabob Korner on 12/14/06 on my recent visit to Vegas. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. As usual, our desi folks rarely adhere towards maintaining quality and taste, if those reviews below have ever been true. We tried the buffalo wings and chicken tikka. The buffalo wings came without any buffalo sauce. The chicken tikka tasted like it had been cooked long time ago and was just warmed up before being served. The neighborhood is not very safe during night time so be cautious. I would rather suggest trying fresh vegetarian food or fish at an american restaurant while in Vegas as there is not many halal desi restaurants. Posted on December 18, 2006 |

★★★★★ This halal restaurant is run by a respectable punjabi pakistani couple who treated me and my family with respect and generosity.
We tried almost everything - from their chili chicken, chicken tikka, to phili cheesesteak, gyros, etc.
And they made it spicy to our liking. All in all I was very impressed and very affordable (cost per plate is 8 dollars and portions are generous). I wish there was a halal restaurant like this in san deigo. Posted on September 24, 2006 |

★★★★☆ This restaurant is run by a very sweet and hard-working Pakistani couple. They serve craveable goodies like fried chicken, homemade beef and chicken burgers, and Philly Cheesesteak. They have also started a new Pakistani menu including tikkas and kebabs, etc, but we haven't tried it yet. The restaurant is clean but not fancy, the service quite fast, and the owners very nice. The prices are quite reasonable too. Definitely recommend it! Posted on May 22, 2006 |
