★★★★★ Nice meal and very generous portion with 100% halal stamp. Posted on December 22, 2010 |

★★★★★ You cannot get more Halal then Saudi Arabia. KSA is so strict about Alchohol that you are not allowed to serve alchhol even in Saudi AirSpace. I travlled to Jeddah via Air India and Air India made the anouncemnet that Alchohol will not be served in Saudi Airspace according to Saudi regulations. Posted on September 2, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Exprience from trip between Karachi & Dhahran. Nice service, but not the best. Posted on August 30, 2007 |

★★☆☆☆ From KHI to Madinah the food tastes like cold toilet paper. The plane was nice but if you like to starve but not be annoyed this airline is for you. Posted on December 10, 2006 |

★★★★☆ i travelled from mumbai to jedaah for umrah, apart from being treated like 2nd class asian crap (cuz of course i was indian), i was served tasty food. On my way to jeddah, we were served hot rice and a choice of meat, chicken or fish, i chose meat and was arab cuisine and very tasty. on our way back to mumbai, it was biryani, i chose chicken but the chicken was w/o any spices almost tasteless but not as bad as oman air. over all above average food. ★★★☆☆ Totally disagree with Wonderer, SPAM sold in islamic countries is made of Turkey not HAM, please read ingredients before blaming someone or atleast do some tehqeeq, my question to Wonderer is how many food products have u seen in Pakistan or any other Islamic country containing a sign U/K/D, all products are carefully passed by the Halal certification process and then sold and most of products clearly states that this product is made for Islamic or by an Islamic country just like you have KFC and Mcdonalds. ★★☆☆☆ I flew from London to Jeddah and had to spend a few hours there before my next flight to Damascus, horrible service as mentioned before, food was ok and the airport of Jeddah was the worst thing ever, you'd expect that hey have a place for praying there and you'd be surprised that unlike some Western airports, they dont! worst time in an airport ever! ★★☆☆☆ When flying to America, they treat you royally. when flying to pakistan, they treat u like royal crap! I definitely sensed and witnessed prejudice against afghan/paki/indian passengers when flying to pakistan. I would advise myself and those who apply islamic values, to practice what they preach. The food was overall good. But there is prejudiced customer service. Posted on December 26, 2005 |

★☆☆☆☆ I agree with most of the reviewers here, Flew from Karachi to Riyadh, drilled holes in my shoes expecting to find nothing there, next year flew from JFK to Riyadh, didn't event open my suitcase for security checks. Walked right on through. Food was good though from JFK, and ok from KHI. Posted on August 24, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ Their food is average but the coffee and the date that they serve you is outstanding. Posted on August 8, 2005 |

★★☆☆☆ Totally agree with 'Wonderer' and 'ZAT'. They treat brothers to trash if you are travelling to Muslim contries and to gourmet food if to/from Western Countries. Thats true with all Persian Gulf Airlines sans Emirates. Posted on January 15, 2005 |

★★★★☆ I liked the food served on the flight. It was quite tasty and the stewards were more than happy to serve additional drinks when requested. Overally quite pleased. Posted on October 21, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ the food is pretty good, but the portions are insufficient, and the meals were few and far between. maybe it was just because i was flying to a "non-white" country. Posted on September 26, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ They give you very nice food when you fly from America to Saudi Arabia. But as another brother said, the food from Saudi to a non-white country is lacking. On domestic flights they offer juice, but no food. Posted on May 30, 2004 |

★★★★★ The review by Wonderer is completely false. Saudi Arabia is a country containing Makkah and Medinah and the country itself does the most for Islam than does any other country. Saudis are muslims too and they would never put haram items in supermarket or on their airline. If you have doubt, you can ask them and be embarrased by their short answer. Posted on April 22, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ The food they give you from the US to Saudi is nice, but if you fly from Saudi to any other country without white people, they give you crap to eat. Posted on January 18, 2004 |
