★★★★★ All the Non-Muslim Airlines could not in serve Halal unless you notify them in advance. With PIA you get halal everything. Posted on March 27, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ We booked a flight Chicago Barcelona. Two weeks before departure we were notified that PIA has cancelled not only that flight but Chicago as a destination. No substitute flights offered, no refund offered. I called the PIA directly, reservation number they gave does not match our booking. PIA agent told us to give him another booking number. From where? That is the only one we have. Asked for a full refund, it will take 6-8 weeks for a refund and they will not refund $115 processing fee? So they cancel the fight, abandon the passengers and on top of that punish me $115 because they cancelled my flight? I filed retail fraud report with VISA and now they are investigating PIA. I regret so much for ever trusting PIA with this important trip I had to take. Posted on June 5, 2013 |

★★★★★ FOOD IS GOOD AND TASTY. Posted on May 4, 2011 |

★★★★★ I have travelled on almost all major world airlines, including PIA, in economy as well as first class, and have always, always found PIA's service either compatable to most reputable airlines or many times even better than some of the best airlines as we know them. Based on my experience, I would certainly rate PIA as one of the best airlines in the world. Their food is always the greatest food any airline can serve; tasty, good presentation, a full menu and filling. I have never found staff service (ground and air, economy and first class) any thing less than courteous and professional-absolutely superb and first class. I know that many people have complains with PIA's service, but just think-who flies PIA and what we do to PIA. Within minutes of a PIA take off, the wash rooms and cabin spaces are dirty-why? This does not happen in other airlines. It is not PIA but us who give PIA a bad name. Most of us behave very well on gora and arab airlines but when travelling PIA, we tend to think we own this airline and its staff is our personal servant. We give due respect to a white airhoetess but not to our own women serving us on PIA. Many of us treat PIA's plane and staff as trash, so that's what we get back. If we use the same travel mannersim on PIA that we use on other airlines, PIA plane would also be clean and service excellent. Having said that, I have yet to see a dirty PIA plane and poor staff service. And I have been at the highet elite level of PIA's frequent flyer program as well as many other Europian, American and Canadian airlines.
PIA is a great airline-and will be greatest airline if we use it well and treat it well. Go PIA!!!! Posted on March 17, 2009 |

★★★★★ Best food and service Posted on February 6, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ this is the worst airline ever if you happen to have an Indian passport.. we took this airline because we're Muslim and thought that taking the Muslim airline would be good for food and everything else even though we were going to India.. not only was the food horrible but the service was even worse.. the problems that we had are never to be forgotten and we will NEVER take PIA EVER again even if we're going to Pakistan.. ★★★★★ I live and work in London, and I have often traveled on PIA while on my way to Pakistan, I have found the food exceptional in terms of choice they offer and taste. It would not be exaggeration if I may dare to say is the best Halal food you can expect in any Airline. May be I think so because I like Pakistani food. Posted on March 5, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Thanks for the helpful positive comments here which helped me decide to take PIA to go to Karachi from NYC. Inshallah I will post my experience once I get back. So far what I get out of here is that PIA had great food but the staff is rotten meaning their customer service skills are poor. We'll find out I guess. Posted on April 9, 2006 |

★★★★★ I have been travelling for a long time with different airline carriers, PIA, is no doubt, number one.. Posted on November 26, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ The food served by PIA was acceptable. Not spectacular but then it matches its service with that. Economy is generally squeezed, dirty, noisy and generally unpleasant. I did not enjoy the flight much but the food was about the only moderately decent thing! Posted on October 21, 2004 |

★★★★☆ On a flight from USA to Pakistan (ORD-BHX-KHI), the main meal of biryani was pretty good, certainly better than most meals I've had on other airlines. The chicken sandwich near the end of the flight was bland. The flight attendants routinely serve beverages throughout the flight. No complaints. Posted on October 20, 2004 |

★★★★☆ I really love the food on PIA. It's as if they realize that a flight that long necessitates some pleasure. As airline meals go, the food was really really tasty and the portions were really large - not like American or European airlines where you're stuck with a pack of crackers, three grapes and some processed cheese wedges. PIA is more like a huge helping of rice, a huge helping of goat curry and veg. Posted on September 19, 2004 |

★★★★★ I just travelled on PIA on they way to pakistan the food was ok and on the way back was great. They give u alot of drinks and good qualitty food Posted on August 26, 2004 |

★★★★★ PIA has really good food quality. I've flown nearly 12 times in my life. That only with PIA and have not been sick for once. I think people criticising PIA should review their own food at home first then talk about others. Posted on July 1, 2004 |

★★★★★ the food on pia rocks and as i live to eat i rate the food at PIA as excellent Posted on May 16, 2004 |

★★★★☆ PIA might have problems with booking, customer satisfaction, etc but its food in both business and economy class is pretty good. I live in the U.S. and I don't get sick when I travel with PIA...the people who are saying that should realize that its not PIA but the village near Bhawalpur that they go to (where they are from) when they land that makes them sick.
The food they pack from Karachi is actually a lot fresher compared to the stale stuff they get from England. Posted on May 6, 2004 |

★★★★★ PIA still stands as one of the best airlines serving the traditional category of food. Delicious desserts, and healthy appetizers mark the menu. No doubt, the best meals served in the air! Posted on May 3, 2004 |

★★★★★ I have travelled on a number of european airlines, middleeastern airlines and on PIA.every year i fly atleaast 3-4 round trips in the world and without any doubt the food is the best on the PIA. especialy on their flights from Lahore to London! Posted on April 15, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ The food serve in PIA is good. But, they dont have much variety. I recently went to Karachi, during my 18 hrs travelling 3 meals were served the menue was the same each time. Its kind of boring. Im travelling with PIA since it started coming to Toronto. The thing I miss is "Nan". They should add this in their menu. Over all The food is good. Posted on March 12, 2004 |

★★★★★ I've been flying with different airlines, and let me tell you that whatever people say about PIA, it's all garbage. When desi people flying with PIA, they think they own the staff, but when flying american or euorpean airlines, they can't open their mouths properly. Having said that, PIA's food and service is very very good Posted on March 12, 2004 |

★★★★★ The best food in the business.
I lived on PIA food for a week and was just fine. From New York to Islamabad; Islamabad to Lahore; From Lahore to Bahawalpur; From Bahawalpur to Lahore; From Lahore to New York. All in 8 days Posted on January 9, 2004 |

★★★★☆ I was surprised to see this raitng for PIA food. Their food is one of the better I have had on an airline and it has been consisttently good.
This food makes up at least partially for their horrible ground service. Posted on January 7, 2004 |

★★★★★ Food served in PIA is much better than the food served in other airlines. Biryani is always fresh without too mucc spices. Posted on December 28, 2003 |

|
★★★★☆ I have travelled PIA several, several times, and believe me, the food is fine. It doesn't make you sick, and you don't need a 'barf bag'. Sometimes their biryani is off the hook! Like all airlines, the food isn't always great, but it's never as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Seems to be more of an issue of us being too 'cool' to like the food our 'poor' airline serves. Well, if you're travelling by it, stop complaining about the food, please! Posted on December 24, 2003 |
|
|
★★★☆☆ The food does not 'make you sick' nor will it cause you to 'barf' unless if u have other medical problems such as severe allergies or hatred towards Pakistani food. The taste is just like on any other airline. Posted on December 21, 2003 |

★★★★☆ As a person who has travelled in all three classes of PIA (coach, business/"sony", and first class) I can tell that the food in coach is just garbage. It's awful and you WILL get sick, most probably before you even land (keep that barf bag handy if you're sitting too far from the bathroom). The smell of food alone is enough to send you reeling. That being said, the food in business and first class is great! They even have fresh chocolate chip cookies and naan with melted butter. You get served in courses, and there is so much variety. The only difference in first class and sony is that first class has nicer plates and flatware and the tray is more roomy. The food quality between the two is the same though. I loved the food and couldn't wait for meal time when I flew business or first class. But when I flew coach, I was better off just drinking soda and eating a bag of pretzels (that I bought in the United States before I boarded) and kind of "fasting" for the 20 hour flight to Pakistan. ★★★☆☆ I was warned many times not to eat the food on PIA or else I'd get sick. But that's just because I'm from the US. I managed to taste it and it was just OK. Not worth the risk to eat the whole thing. Posted on December 9, 2003 |
