Description: On September 1, 1999 Al-Safa Halal was created by the Muller family together with two other partners, Otter Capital and Packaged Food Investors. With a product line that has grown to include chicken, turkey, beef, fish, pizza and falafel, Al-Safa is widely distributed to many grocery stores and foodservice operations throughout North America.
As of March 2011, Al-Safa authorizes machine slaughtered chicken in certain products, as confirmed by Halal Advocates and confirmed by IFANCA.
