This is the catering division of Bombay Mahal. Bombay Mahal Restaurant is not the oldest authentic restaurant in Boston, but it's certainly one of the most daring and provocative. Our head chef's background is primarily traditional Indian cuisine, but after some serious reflection he realized that Boston was lacking a truly innovative Indian Bistro. His challenge was how to hold on to the foundations of authentic Indian food while presenting a combination of old and new. Bombay Mahal turned out to be the solution to this challenge. ★★★ Nice clean place...Personally don't think they serve halal. I asked the waiteress and she didn't know what halal was. She asked someone else and came back to say "yes, its halal". But, i wasn't convinced. Food is OK and prices are decent.
