★★ Not that good anymore. some other family took over the place a year ago and the food hasn't been that good ever since.
★★★ A combined Lebanese restaurant and store offering a small, but decent variety of middle eastern groceries and spices. I was not all that impressed with the sandwiches. I probably would not return.
Went here for lunch today......It is more of a store than a restaurant......I ordered a beef shawrma sandwich and I felt it was a little pricey for just a sandwich, and it tasted average. The service however, was really good.
★★★ I recently had a shawarma from al-Nakheel, it was good, not great.
★★★★ It is good Middle Eastern food, best shawarmas outside the Middle East.
The owners are not Muslim, but most of the workers are. Prince Bandr, former Saudi Ambassador to the USA used to buy all of his meat there.
They have been in the area for about 20 years and are rather well respected.
★★★ The store is clean, good service but I'm 100% sure the meat is not Halal. Also the owner is not Muslim! The zabihah in Eid-al-Itha arrives one day before the actuall Eid.
★★★★ Very friendly staff, neat and clean, authentic halal meat. They store is now larger than before with the restaurant. Highly recommended.
★★★ They have excellent Falafel sandwiches.
★★★ "Halal meat, Middle Eastern groceries and sweets."
