★★★★  They are halal. They are next door to a store which sells halal meat and across the street from a masjid. They always assure customers of the meat being halal and there's a halal sign in the store. The food is homemade quality and very delicious and authentic. It is also inexpensive. The restaurant environment is more of a fast food joint, but highly recommended!

The owners are not Muslim. They are Hindu and serving vegetarian foods as well. There is no sign in the window that there is halal food either.

★★★★★  "If you are looking for authentic Sri Lankan dishes that taste just like your mother's cooking...look no further. The food is very authentic, and can be hot (depends on what you order). They have have ""Mas or Elevalu"" roti and rolls. A rice and curry meal costs $5.00. Their Kottu Roti (chopped roti cooked w/ either goat, beef or chicken) is out of this world...I feel like I'm at home."
