 | ★★★★★ The first thing I noticed was the decor, mA it is very modern while still looking asian. When I was there I had the chicken corn soup, the fish chips and the chicken chilli dry medium. The chicken corn soup was piping hot and tasted great. The fish chips were probably my favorite because they tasted fresh but were not over oily. The main course, the chicken chilli dry was also excellent and cooked to order (I don't like my food overly spicy). I've been to some other fusion places but desii wok definitely takes the best of both and creates some great food, I will definitely go again. I did go by myself but it is very family friendly. |

 | ★★★★★ Very nice and clean restaurant. Better seating arrangement and ambiance than any other desi restaurant in the area. We ordered several dishes. Desi Special soup, fish crackers, chicken drum sticks, shrimp tempura, fried rice, beef chillli, chicken manchurian and general two chicken. Out of all desii special soup, tempura, fried rice and beef chill were the best. Chicken manchurian and chicken drumstick (the chicken balls) were good and general tso was just average. Owner was friendly and wanted to hear the feedback. We suggested the name change for drumstick because its more like balls. Also we gave him other taste related advices which he acknowledged. It was great to visit a restaurant that wants to hear customer's opinion and suggestion. I will definitely go back again. |

 | ★★★★ Good clean restaurant with solidly good tasting food. We tried the Desii soup, which is a spicy tomato broth soup with an array of tangy flavors and spices with shrimp and chicken. The drumsticks appetizer (which is actually chicken meat balls) were also very tasty. We ordered the dry beef chili dish with fried rice as our main course, and both were tasty and spicy, just the way we like it! The mango ice cream for dessert was excellent. Service is friendly and attentive. The owner is very nice and makes it a point to stop by each table to ask how the food is and if the customer needs anything. Owner is Muslim and verified that all meat served is halal. I hope this place stays around for a long time. The only thing I noticed that they can improve in is the time it takes to wait for food to be served. The wait for our food to be served was a bit long. Once this improves however, the place can easily achieve 5 stars. I recommend this place, and will definitely return. |

 | ★★★★★ My 1st visit to this place today. I noted following:
++++++++++
1. Food is Chinese with more influence of Pak spices.
2. Very nice and clean sitting arrangement's.
3. Nice management.
4. Reasonably priced.
------------------
1. It take longer to have your food (I think it will improve by time).
2. They need to train proper order taking (This should improve by time as well).
Lastly please go light with Soy sauce in the food (bit salty).
I wish them the best, I will definitely go there again and again. |

 | ★★★★★ I love this place. I ordered from this place 3 times just this past week. Their soup is great, the sizzling chicken manchurian is perfect... the food is actually spicy and flavorful.. not something that everyone can enjoy (but I hope they don't change it).
The menu is waaaay too short and items are a bit pricey. Also, they charge strangely, for example, I ordered the sizzling chicken manchurian which is for 12.99 and includes plain rice. I asked for chicken masala rice as well which is for 9.00. They simply replaced my white rice with the masala rice and charged me full price for both items.. what!? Desiiwok, y u no give me white rice but charge me money for it!!?
Honestly, I expect the quality of the food here to go down eventually (after they have built a large customer base). The only way to pull customers away from the other 3 desi chinese places in the area is by offering delicious food.
I will comment again on the food quality after a several months if it degrades.

 | ★★★★★ First of all, it is important to note that this is not an American Chinese restaurant, rather it is an indo-pak influenced cuisine. With that as the premise of this review, the food was the best I have ever had in this category.
The atmosphere is pleasant. It is not too loud, there's some interesting music, nice decor and paintings, and a very large dining space. In contrast to other restaurants in the area, it is very clean. This is a family restaurant which also has take out.
We ordered the Desii special soup, manchurian beef with fried rice, and chicken chow mein. The food was flavorful, tangy, and slightly spicy just like Pakistani Chinese ought to be.
The owner was very nice and he conversed with us, made recommendations, etc. He took all recommendations and our critiques to heart. Because the food quality was so great, I imagine this place will be packed and successful within a few months. After all, it's only just getting started. :D |

 | ★★★★★ The atmosphere was calm and soothing. The food was a perfect mixture of Chinese-Indopak cuisine. By far the best restaurant of its kind in the Northern Virginia area. The owner was very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go to their Valentine's Day event with great food, great live music, and great company. |

 | ★★★★★ I went there last week and tried various dishes. They have very nice food; I will say best Pakistani Chinese food in US. Their soups (19-B & DESI SPECIAL) and Chicken Manchurian with Masala Fried Rice are simply amazing. |

 | ★★★★★ Quality is the best word to describe this spot. This is definitely a restaurant you can enjoy with friends, family, or just solo. The key thing to note is the food is delicious (a mix of Desi + Chinese) and the atmosphere is elegant and relaxing. I had the beef manchurian dish and a unique desi/chinese soup and both were right on point. Good servings and good prices. Definitely recommend. There was even an area for salah. |

 | ★★★★★ Went there for lunch with my wife. The food for the Lunch Special was great! The Desi Special Soup is made to order, and the Chicken Manchurian brought back memories of the great Indo-Pak Chinese food taste from back home. The Owner came by and talked to us about the food and is very nice. This is a place you can bring family and friends as the the restaurant is very spacious and well decorated. We wish Desi Wok success and will be back there again. |
