★★★★★ I love how close this place is to my house! Not very many restaurants in the downriver area which serve Halal food. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat out. Love the chicken gyro sandwich.
★★★ It's nice to see new restaurants downriver serving halal food. Taza Fresh Grill offers a full menu from appetizers to entrees and items in between. We got a platter for two (Taza combo) along with some lentil soup. Although the meat quality was good and well prepared, the flavor of the food was lacking yet very salty. We requested beef and chicken only, but did get some lamb pieces in our combo as well, so I am not sure if the cooks aren't paying attention to what they're serving. The lentil soup was very salty and the preparation was fair. Since this place has been open only a few months, I am going to try it again in the hopes that the chefs improve their recipes.
