★★★★★  Good food along with facilities for families who want to sit seperatly. It very nice to see this place grow back in the years from a little place to such a beautiful setup and location. Would recommend!

★★★★★  mashallah a very nice place. The setting and ambiance is very beautiful and cozy. The service was great as well. my favorite was the butter chicken which is quite possibly one of the best around in my opinion. i will definately come back here.

★★★★  The price is high but the place also is with high standard, very good people and better than average food, very comfotable to go there with family

★★★★★  In a neighborhood full of halal chcken, pizza, and flourescent-tube-light-lit and linoleum table places, Pak Centre is a welcome addition. It is tastefully decorated, with professional service, and excellent desi-western fusion cuisine. It's a nice place to take my wife for a "nice" dinner out, yet is also very child-friendly. I highly recommend it.

★★★★  I really really like the ambiance of this place and the food is also very very tasty and unique. It's a good mix of east meets west, and appeals to my palate, though maybe not as much to my very desi wife. :)
Service in the restaurant is one the slow side unfortunately, and not very organized, but I guess not everything can be perfect. I think our waitress/front counter cashier was new to her job and she was the only person serving the few customers at the not so busy time of the day we visited.

★★★  This place definitely has nice decor and is great to bring my non-muslim family, but prices are fairly steep considering the portion sizes are not that big. I love the beef gosht, and pretty much everything we tried was tasty. The butter chicken was good, but even that was a bit too spicy for my kids (fine for me, but if you can't take spicy food--beware). Not somewhere I'd come all the time, but definitely a nice place to go when dining out masha'allah.

★★★★  I enjoy their ramadan buffet. During the regular year, food is served cold sometimes (encountered this problem at multiple visits). But I give this place credit for renovating and maintaining a beautiful restaurant. Also, I appreciate them for accomodating muslim sisters by having private dining areas.

★★★★★  Restaurant is very modern and the design is great. They have private dining too for the sisters. I like their service and the waiters are keen to help. Their prices are also very reasonable. They are not too far from where we live so we do take out frequently. Definitely will return. 2 thumbs up.

★★  The ambiance and service is great however the food was very disappointing. Nihari, biryani and the butter chicken did not taste good at all, their naans however were good. I would only recommend their bun kebabs

★★★★  the following is a very neutral review of the place:
my self and wife with our little one visited this place for the first time on a week day, looking at the name we had set our expectations low, however the interior is very unlike its name! modern and elegant, the seating is comfortable, and there are four private cabins for hijabi's etc, the also have longer tables to accommodate larger groups.

before we arrived, we had made reservations on the same day, and upon our arrival the staff was expecting us, however the gentleman at the reception pointed us towards a cabin instead of leading us there, which i found awkward, however there was a plastic "reserved" sign at the table waiting for us. the cutlery was not very clean, as you'd expect it to be. also the glasses and jugs were subpar. did not go with the place.

we were served with complimentary fresh cut head lettuce and shredded carrots salad, the condiments on the side were very substandard.

they gave us ample time to chose what we wanted, and knew exactly when to come to take the order, which was a plus. we ordered, bihari kebab, lamb rogan josh, fish masala, chicken biryani, two naans and faluda, all prepration took about 20 minutes, which we did not mind. they first served rogan josh and naans, both of them well cooked and perfect taste however the size of naans and quantity of rogan josh was a little less than it should have been with rogan josh having too many bones.
fish masala was brought next, fish was also well cooked and very tasty, my wife did not like the onion topping but i did not mind it, again the fillets were rather small though.

next came the chicken biryani, it was a little cold, however was generous in quantity, perhaps a little more salt would have made it tastier like all the other dishes we had tried so far. there was also good quantity of chicken in it, which made it very well worth its price.

bihari kebabs came last, again very well cooked and very delicious but for the price the quantity was very little, makkah resturant at danforth has better and bigger serving for cheaper price, but also a different version of the kebabs.

I was expecting the regular rabri falouda, however the one we got was with jam-e-shereen, tasted good though and was served with a scoop of icecream and perhaps jelly in a large glass, i'd probably order it again.

we also requested Gulab Jaman, but were told they are not available, we ordered rasmalai instead, which was very well made and adequate quantity.

over all, the service was very nice, they even brought a lolypop for our toddler and brought a disposable spoon and plate for him, even though he was not going to eat, i think it was very considerate of them to do so thinking matel spoon could hurt him, thumbs up on that.

our bill came up to $45.xx for two, we were full and had a little to take away, however we both agreed that for the price range the portions could be bigger, the biryani could be improved in taste but rest of the food was just excellent. they could also improve on the cutlery and plates etc. the service was very commendable and warranted us to tip them generously.

★★★★  A surprisingly clean, stylish and warm atmosphere when you walk into this awkwardly named restaurant. As we walked in, the brother at the front asked us to sit at one of their private cabin - nicely blocked off with curtains - we were very impressed.
The menu included the typical desi items as well as some not so common items. We picked the Bihari kabab and the Chicken angara. The physical menu was quite impressive as well - although it didnt list a critical item - NAAN.
Both were excellent. The service was not slow at all to my surprise as I had read the reviews here mentioning they are slow. The naan was excellent. Chicken angara tasted fabulous and was in generous portion - enough for a couple if thats all you order (we had leftovers). Presentation of the dish itself looked quite mediocre.
The bihari kabab was excellent, but portion was a bit small. The meat was well cooked and served on a sizzler.
I will definitely recommend this to others and will be returning again. For niqabi sisters this place must be a dream come true in terms of eating space.

★★★★  I'd recommend you stick with the usual suspects (chicken tikka, butter chicken, chicken rolls, etc.). Those are all good. We tried to be adventurous and order some uncommon or specialty dishes like the Murgh Mumtaz featured on a poster. Those were disappointing to say the least. The best thing about the place is the clean, roomy, modern look. The worst would be the sometimes slow service. I had my first Pakola (cream soda from Pakistan) there, try it!

★★★★  EDITED: After my original review, the owner mailed me apologizing for the experience and promising that they have taken steps to improve their service. That's commendable and hopefully they will regain their standing.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Totally unimpressed with this restaurant. We went there on a week night and ordered chicken biryani along with some other dishes, only to be told that the restaurant was out of biryani and all rice dishes. The prices were outrageous, considering the quantity and quality of food. We also felt uncomforatble as we spotted a couple of shady characters who seemed to be affiliated with the management who were lounging around and watching cricket on their laptops. Get your priorities straight - you are running a family restaurant- not a local club or adda.

★★★★★  Let me edit my previous review:

The owner of this restaurant read my review and apologized to me for my terrible experience. I was really impressed, for the time he had taken out of his busy schedule & discussed that incident & how it had portrayed a -ve image. He was very receptive of the feedback. We went last weekend & after the assurance, I can guarantee you that it was way better compared to my last visit. I was really impressed on the service, & the food was never a concern. Keep up the great work, with the exceptional service you are providing :) I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

-------------------------------------------------
They used to be really good when they started this restaurant. Been there couple of times. Noticed over the time, that their service is dropping slowly, bad service, extremely slow, gives priorities to friends/acquaintances first rather than be fair and even to all the customers. We had to tell the waitor thrice before finally told him to cancel the biryani, since he was too busy serving with someone they knew. Won't go there again. Not a good place anymore for family dinner. Not recommended.

★★★★  Good food! Its nice to have a halal restaurant that looks clean with nice decor. Only complain is the service is horrible, very slow.

★★★  Need more experience in customer service. Ever since they moved to the new location, the service and quality of food has gone down. On weekend it took them 40 minutes to accodomate us for a table and top of that they messed up the order. Atleast 1 family left because they were waiting for over 30 minutes for there food. Either hire more staff or downsize because service has taken a hit.

★★★  Very clean, very good looking.

Went for buffet, decently priced, 13.00+ after tax.
Though not the best food in town, butter chicken lacks flavour and "zing". chicken tikka is good.

★★★★★  The food is extremely good - specially biryani, bun kabab, nihari, rolls, and other things. Family oriented restaurant with very good service. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast. If you call ahead - the food is always ready on time. The food tastes just like back home in Pakistan. I am a frequent visitor and a permanent customer.

★★★★★  I was looking for a place to get "Nazimabad the Bun Kabab" that I used to eat at a roadside.
I was referred here and was told that the owner is also from Nazimabad.
I liked the Bun Kabab as it took me several decades back. But you will be surprised when I tell you that the thing that impressed me most was the unkept place!!!
I frequent very often. Paratha Roll is good also.
