| ★★★★★ This is the only place in Toronto that knows how to make butter chicken in my opinion. Its absolutely delicious. I went with my husband for Iftaar two days ago and we received such warm welcome. They provided dates & water and by the time we were done, we had hot food on our table. Absolutely delicious. Very nice people as well. Environment is very cosy too. |

| ★ I have been going to Mezbaan at this location for over two years, but the quality of it's food and service is in sharp decline. Order some Kebabs and butter chicken for the family, bad idea. Gastric pains that followed have convinced me to forgo this restaurant. The food is hodge podge quickly put together. I would recommend the Pharmacy location vs this one. |

| ★ I went to this place an ordered two orders of Student Kabob Rolls - basically, a kabob already rolled up in some nan, and some pikoras. This was a take-out. The pikoras were over-cooked, and too salty.
The kabobs were drenched - and I do mean drenched!- in some kind of mint sauce. The nan was was like a soggy sponge. When I opened up the roll, I discovered a fly struggling for survival.
The floors in the place were sticky, and the door entitled "Employees only" was covered in grime.
Back to the food, the meat in the kabobs were also undercooked (pink meat).
I would definately NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. |

I tried the Mezbaan platter (which is plain rice with two large seekh kabob and chicken tikka (breast, white meat) and it was Excellent!

| ★★★★ I had an opportunity to try their Seekh Kabob and naan as well as the chicken biryani.
The seekh kabob and naan were excellent.
The chicken biryani was a "little" dry but otherwise very good, with a nice amount of spice and the meat portions were EXCELLENT.
The establishment was CLEAN looking and the food itself was clean.
I peeked at the kitchen, and indeed, they run a clean looking kitchen.
I have actually added Mezbaan to my list of good desi restaurants.
I would only recommend three places for Desi food in Toronto now and they are in order:
1) Lahore Tikka House (food consistency and taste are excellent, especially since things are alot more cleaner there).
2) Mezbaan (The Seekh kabob alone made this place enjoyable as it seems most indian/pakistani restaurants have NO clue how to make proper seekh kabobs)
3) Biryani House (at Yonge/Bloor) (Their beef biryani is EXCELLENT)
I have tried Shahi Karahi and they were good for awhile only because of their seekh kabob but from time to time, I find the meat they use is a little old.
I tried Iqbal's Kabob House. They were ok and nothing to write home about.
Silver Spoon is o.k. as well. nothing that great |

| ★★★★ Mezbaan is one of the better Indo-Pak restaurants in the GTA. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions were generous. The service was extremely attentive, with the owner constantly inquiring to see if everything was fine. A filling meal for two will cost you around $20. The only drawback is that it is more of a take-out joint than a restaurant and aesthetics are functional at best, with food and water being served in paper plates and cups. The location is also not the best, but I guess, one cannot have it all. Overall, highly recommended. |

| ★★★★★ I was referred to this restaurant by a friend who was praising the Chicken Biryani & Chicken Tikka Masala and naan. You truly have to visit this place to give it justice. You can see the chef and his staff cooking the food so I knew it was fresh, the taste was truly magnificent. I don't leave tips but that day they got a extra five bucks..definetely worth the ride to Mezbaan. |

To make things even better the owners actually come out to make sure the food is good and if we enjoyed it, on my visit I was told both owners Javed and Rizwan were there and believe me they truly deserve a pat on the back. My family will continue to visit Mezbaan and recommend it to all with very high praise..asalamalakum.. a new and loyal customer. |
