★★★★ This place is pretty cool. I had the lamb seekh kabab with some naan. The food was tasty. Workers confirmed that everything is halal. I asked if they serve beef seekh kababs, and they said, not yet. I prefer beef kababs over lamb, but the lamb is not bad. Check it out if in the area.

★★★★ I've been eating their vegitarian items and just found out from their website and after contacting them via email that rotee express is halal (they have another main restaurant on Haight st). Good food for lunch. For rice and 2 meat items it will be just under $10. It is only 2 blocks from my work so I'm excited! It's just a quicklunch spot that is open during the lunch rush. Very popular place. I look forward to trying the meat. This is express so not much to choice from (tandori chicken, chicken tika masala, chicken jalfrezi etc. nothing exotic but it's good for people looking for halal in the financial district.
