 | NR As of September 2nd, 2007 the store has been closed.
It was a wonderful halal chinese restaurant in San Diego, it was the only one in town. |

 | ★★★★★ Tasty food is their specialty. The customer service could be improved but I do not expect much better service in any Chinese restaurant.
The chicken soup is great as an appetizer and Beef is great in entree. The tri-fried rice is also a must try item. |

 | ★★★★ Part of a multi-restaurant ownership. This is a great option for those looking for Chinese food in the San Diego region and can't get north to Orange County. Food was good although parking is not plentiful. |

 | ★★★★ Assalamu alaikum,
I'm from Detroit. I went to Jamila Garden for the first time today for carryout and I'm very impressed with food "Chicken with cashews and fried rice". The prices are awesome. Those of you who think it's expensive, try going to other Chinese restaurants in other cities. Besides, $5.99 for so much food is too much for halaal?
As far as the zabiha authenticity goes, the person showed me the invoices from A-Noohi meat suppliers". It seems to be authentic but don't take my word as the final check. I agree that they can't speak English well but "guzara ho jata hai".
Jazakallah |

 | ★★★ I've been to this place acouple times but have heard from some friends who are strick about halal that the chicken they use is slaughtered by machine not by hand, which makes it not really halal. That was alittle while back so maybe you can check it out yourself. |

 | ★★★ At last a halal chinese cuisine in San Diego! The best thing about them is the big serving size and reasonable price. But, everything tastes the same ! (Compare it when you eat there the next time :) ). The chef needs to do something about it. Service needs to be improved as well. |

 | ★★★★★ Food was great, service was so-so, they forgot to bring my drink until the end of my meal, when we got our bill and they still charged me for it. Overall if you want some Chinese halal this is the best place to go |

 | ★★★ Have been here a dozen times or so. Food is good. Service is horrible and getting worse. No one really speaks english. Last time we went there, we waited 10 minutes before we got our menus while the staff was splitting peas! But it is the only zabihah Chinese in town. |

 | ★★★★★ The food is great. Each serving is plenty for a single person. Reasonably priced. Excellent service. Place is nicely decorated. Seperate room for prayer. We tried Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken, they were excellent. Definitely recommend to everyone. |

 | ★★★★ Salams,
This was the first resteraunt I've ever been to that had a large sign for its musallah where one can go and pray. There were Muslims from diverse backgrounds from Pakistanis to African Americans and Arabs. I thought the food was excellent. However I wouldn't suggest the fried chicken at all. Wasalams. |
