★★★★★  Best afghan food in California! Wonderful service and the naans were fresh and delicious. The tea was also great and a very generous serving. The chutneys were excellent too. We had the mantu, karhai chicken, and mutton kabob (served w three different types of rice) and all were phenomenal

NR  The Halal Board of San Diego found out that this resturant does NOT server Zabihah food.

★★  I was told over the phone that they have halal food and they also sell alcohol. I can not trust someone who does both. Alcohol and halal food doesn't go hand in hand.

★★★★  I was visiting San Diego and this resturant recommended to me by a local muslim brother. Ambience is nice, they did confirm meat was halal. Portions are reasonably sized and food quality was good.

I did not actually eat there as I just checked out the atmosphere which did not seam halal at all. They serve alcohol and I don't think that goes hand in hand with serving halal meat.

Its definitely not halal, we were there and first they served alcohal, food is very expensive and poor quality. Management is poor, this restaurant is never look like halal. Donot go there

"This place is the worst restaurant I've come across on the zabihah website, it doesn't deserve to even be listed. We walked in enquiring about halal meat, the servers had no idea what we were talking about. They serve alcohol. The quantity of served food was poor; we ordered main courses and were horrified to see the amount sitting in our plates. Although the owner promised it was halal, we were still not so sure about it. The area is really not appropriate for a nice Muslim family. Go there at your own risk!"

★★  The food is very expensive and the service varies from time to time. The owner is very slippery and ill-mannered and charges you for things you did not order. The meat is probably not halal as the owner is not religious himself.

★★★★  "Although not excellent, it was pretty good and the service was good. Be prepared to have a leisurely meal. Ambiance and atmosphere was good. Mostlty locals in the dining room. Fairly pricey, portions were good."

This is establishment is not halaal according to Zabihah standards. Please note this so as to not mislead Muslims.
