★★★★★  We were on vacation in San Diego an read the reviews of this restaurant. Honestly, the reviews don't do this place justice. The food is EXCELLENT. Everything is prepared after you order, so although you may have to wait a little bit to get your order, the food is fresh and flavorful. I really appreciate that on the menu they clearly state that all the meat is Halal and that they do not serve alcohol. There is no parking lot, but plenty of street parking. There are meters up front but around the corner there is a side street with free parking. My family left very full and satisfied. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting San Diego.

★★★★★  We were visiting for Eid, we were so glad that Pasha was open. They have the best hummus MASHALLAH .My son and my daughter in law took us to this beautifull restaurant.First of all every thing is halal ! We need to promot ebusiness like this. And the food the best i ever tried. Their shwarma chicken and beef was the most beautifull and taste one that we ever tried. My son ordered the beef shish it came with two color rice and nuts on the top with salad ,great valie and great size. I ordered the beef shwarma and my husband ordered the chicken ( we shared at the end) but every plate came out with attention, very well prepared and the appetizers were amazing. The owner make their own Kunafa and Baklava they were fresh and excellent. Before we leave we will be visiting again.Service was excellent and really nice decoration and very clean restaurant. MASALLAH GREAT JOB .

★★★  I ordered the mixed kabob plate. The total was $23 something. If I knew how expensive it was I would have ordered a five dollar sandwich. I noticed a sign on the door that said buy one entree get one free with the purchase of two drinks, so I guess I should have ordered that? The rice was greasy. I didn't really want to eat it. Some of the pieces of the beef kabob were tough and some were acceptable. The seasoning was nothing special. The koobideh was very vinegary. The texture was good and the seasoning was a little tasty. The vinegar killed it though. The chicken was decent. It had good texture, and OK flavor, but it tasted of vinegar too. The hummus was not good at all. It was too bad though. The amount was really small. The small salad was OK. I felt that the value was not good because for the same price I could have got something really good somewhere else. At Hatam you can get a large portion of filet mignon for that price. And at Hatam the rice is fantastic and the meat is usually superb. I will probably go back and give it another shot because maybe when you eat in the restaurant it tastes a lot better.

★★★★★  We were visiting the area and when I walked in, I saw Halal sign on the door and a couple of other religious pics. The owner confirmed it was 100% Zabihah halal and had a certificate and also said halal on the menu. Above average food with excellent service with a smile. I dont understand all these other places in the San Diego with the "half" halal and alcohol served/allowed. Those people are definitely confused. But this place is was legit.

★★★★★  I first came here with my wife and in-laws. My wife and I are muslims but here parents are not. We all loved this place, it didn't matter to them if it was halal or not, they were in love. I brought my wife a second time, and the food, once again, DELICIOUS. It is so authentic and now my in-laws keep asking me to take them and so does my wife. So people beware, if you bring in-laws, or family, expect to take them many more times. We had the beef kabob, chicken kabob, the rice was hot and fresh, unlike what previous poster had mentioned. Great, I am now craving it, I probably will stop by there now.

★★★  We went after a long day, looking for a delicious and filling meal. The prayer area is perfect for out of towners. The food was tasty, restaurant clean and service fast and friendly. The portions were smaller then expected, we needed to order more after seeing how much was on the plate. The food itself was pretty good, authentic and fresh.

★★★★★  Just visiting San Diego for the day a d found this resturant here, so we decided to give it a go. Got a little sceptical at first as when I looked at the rating it showed only a 3.5. Anyhow we went anyway, and boy, am I glad I went. The food was very tasty. I got the mixed grilled plate, the chicken spices were a perfect blend to the colored rice, and the kabob was also very distinct in taste when put again the chicken. The lamb meat was a little chewy for my liking but the spices more than made up for it. The portions are large, and the best part was the attention to detail from décor to presentation of food, and the personal attention to their guests. The owners were there and very pleasant people. Great experience!!!

★★  We were in San Diego for the weekend and was happy to find a halal Turkish restaurant so close to downtown. Unfortunately, the food wasn't up to par. Most items were bland and served without salads and grilled chilli peppers. We had to ask for them and were presented with grilled green peppers instead! Quite honestly, I've had better. Good luck to them though...with a little help out front and some guidance on the menu, this place could be a success...in time.

★★  Unfortunatley this place was not good at all. The owner is a very sweet lady. We ordered the Chicken Shawerma, it was bland, the rice cold, and the hummus tasteless. My husband ordered the gyro and that was pretty good.
