| ★★★★★ This is one of the best places if you your looking for flat out really good meat. I always get the bargh (I think that's how it's spelled) steak. It's always perfectly cooked. The free bread, yogurt and pepper sauce they give you for an appetizer is excellent as well. The atmosphere is great and the place is very clean. All in all a great place to go for a perfectly cooked meat |

| ★★★★★ I've been going here since it has opened years ago. I knew the owners and bought meat from their butchery (in the back of the restaurant) plenty of times before.
Pros:
1. This place is clean, and looks good and has clean bathrooms. I would definitely recommend bringing guests over.
2. The food tastes good and does not take too long to make.
3. The prices are decent and even good in comparison to where it is located.
4. Owners are nice and good muslims. The food has always been 100% halal and no alcohol has ever been served.
Con:
The rice is usually not hot, so it takes some of the taste away. I prefer my food hot, and it bothers me a bit that it's not hot enough. It's not something most people notice, but for a near perfect restaurant, I've got to have some request for improvement. |

For the price the establishment could offer real cutlery and plates. Grilled meat is hard to handle over disposable plates with plastic cutlery. Someone should drop that suggestion by the owner. |

Everything else, chicken, lamb, etc, was cooked with care. We were hoping they would have the tangy white sauce many afghan places have, but guess they are persian and not afghani. Chatni was good, though, and food was flavorful enough by itself. |

Most of the halal places I eat at are pretty crappy. This place is really nice and clean with good tables. I wish more halal restaurants would learn from this place and invest a little more in their eating areas.
The owner's a real nice guy. While my food was being made, he was telling me all about the place and his future plans and everything. Everyone was nice to me. The owner even gave me a free mango juice and an extra bread because we talked for so long. (No, this good review is not a result of his bribery).
Location's a little tough to find, so it takes a sec to find this place since it's on the side. And they need to start having later hours. Because of the nice setting, I think this could be a very cool late night hang out spot. |
