| | ★ No disrespect, but it is like stepping into a souq in Yemen. What happened to "nadhafa min al iman" (Cleanliness is from faith)? When I visited, the fruits and vegetables were covered with flies. The only way they get away with this is because they are in a poor neighborhood and most of their customers are non-Muslims from this neighborhood buying junk food, not halal meat. We should be examples of cleanliness to these people, rather than neglect. |

The owner, and people who work here are extremely kind and helpful, and will help you find whatever you need. The surrounding neighborhood is downtrodden and poor, so you have an unsavory crowd at the doorstep, but just go during the day and you should be fine. |
