It is a family owned place where everybody pitches in and they really care about what they serve. I have been going there for 4 years and the quality they've been maintaining is remarkable. Now please note I am only talking about their food here. The decor is not that great and it lacks the ambiance of a decent eatery and the menu is kind of short. But you know what, the food is so so good I really dont care! We go there at least once a week and IA will go back again again. |

| NR I'm not from Dallas, so didn't know which good halal restaurant to go. I just picked grand cafe after reading many good comments. I would say that it's over rated. We were 6 adults and 7 kids and half of us stopped eating in the middle due to it's taste less and low quality food. Sitting area was also so unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who's going there with family. |

| ★★★★★ Absolutely love this place! Have been going here since I moved to Dallas from NY back in 2005 and the quality has not went down a bit. It's a family owned business and they treat you well. The place is not a 5 star, but that is what I like. Invest in quality of the food, rather than nonsense decor. I usually order for take out and never had issues with my order. Highly recommend their grandburger, philly chicken/steak- it is somewhat healthier than the real philly steak but still taste good. I've eaten halal philly steak in Philly so no halal restaurant in Dallas comes even close to the real philly. Also, try the chicken tawook- delicious! The brother allowed me on several occasions to use the space around the backside of the restaurant to make my salat. Definitely try it out! |

So all 12 of us moved. Bathroom could be cleaner. It's a casual place. TV is there if the kids want to watch. |

| ★★★★★ We have been going to this place for five years now. The best philly chicken/steak sandwich I have ever tasted anywhere is from here (get it with hot sauce). The owners are very nice people and the prices are reasonable. I disagree with the comments about sheesha, if you wana see people smoking visit jasmine/sultan and you will know what I mean. This is more like a family run business and the atmosphere is very family-friendly. Everyone should visit this place atleast once! |

Be sure to add hot sauce when ordering.
Also try their Turkish Coffee.
The only down side is the price, they need to include fries with the burger for almost $6.
Another problem is the smoking issue which makes the place not too kid friendly.
Having said that, we will go there again if we're in the area. The food is more than excellent.

From my experience it is best to phone in your order ahead of time, that way it is ready when you get there. Since we drive out from Arlington this works best for us. The owner is quite a character but a very nice guy at heart. In Dallas or the entire state its the best halal burger PERIOD. Family run with personal service. |

I asked a simple question, is it beef or chicken and his answer was like a 5 minute lecture on where he buys his chicken, he even went inside and showed me the box. No! Please, I am not interested, just answer what I have asked. Before visiting the shop I had called and found the owner too pushy. I asked him about the menu; he wouldn't tell; rather says you have to come to the shop... WOW! That's some marketing! I tried the Grand Burger, but was not impressed. Too expensive, I may say. | ★★★★★ The Grand Burger. The Grand Burger. The Grand Burger. If you have not experienced the Grand Burger then there is little I can say other than it is the best burger I have ever had. It is cooked to order, inexpensive, and Halal; when I asked if it was halal the employee said yes and showed me the receipt for the meat.
This restaurant seems to be a hangout for the younger community on the weekend, but families are welcome also. The Grand Burger is not the only good thing on the menu; the hummus is smooth and the pita bread fresh. Enjoy this restaurant which focuses on quality, community, and really good burgers!!
