My fiance and I suffered from food poisoning following a short meal there last week.

★★★  I found the food to be wonderfully spiced, but the servings were very small. The Baigan Bartha was delicious and should be considered one of the best dishes on the menu. All in all, it was a good deal for the price.

★★★★★  "Udipi is as pure as they come. The only thing served there that had eyes are potatoes. Also, there is no alcohol. The food is not entirely sattvic but atleast none of it had children. I eat there often with a friend and my bill has never exceeded $25. I highly recommend the mutter paneer and the baigan bartha."

★★★★★  "This is a pure vegetarian Hindu owned south Indian restaurant. They serve all kinds of Dosa's. The Dosa's are great. The Thali (includes rice with 5 different curries, and a chapathi) was ok. They had very good Mango Lassi. I did not notice any alcohol in this place, which is wonderful, and should serve a lesson for some Muslim restaurant owners that it is possible to attract clients even without alcohol in the menu."
